We have another lunch this Friday 19th until a couple weeks break. Next Friday 26th, while we aren't open for lunches, we will be doing preorders of sweets treat and savoury bakes plus a hot roast sandwich to takeaway. We'll put a list up shortly for anyone wanting to order.

We have been making some traybakes for orders this week and selling off some extras bagged up.
There is our popular caramel shortbread and some triple chocolate brownies (gf) and salted caramel brownies (gf) - £5 each.

We'll be open tomorrow 12pm to 3pm for our set menu lunches if anyone wishes to buy some, just let us know if you would like any kept back.

Thank you to everyone who came for lunch last friday, we have another 2 or 3 Fridays before a little break and then we'll start again.

Our next one is this Friday 5th June, all details are on our website: www.oldstablesalnwick.co.uk .
We are just doing lunches with a set 2 or 3 course menu on a Friday either weekly or fortnightly, please remember the tea room itself is officially closed so there isn't cakes etc.

We had another fully booked lunch last friday, the whipped goats cheese salad is staying on the menu for now as it has been so popular.

The next two dates for Friday lunches are:

Friday 29th May 12pm to 3pm

We only got 3 pictures from our first lunch on Friday as it got bit busy in the kitchen plus the electric decided to cut out a few times! But overall it went great. The majority of our lunches will be Fridays with odd changes here and there will be some later afternoon/evening options.

Our next Afternoon tea is this Saturday 2nd May, we have two tables left if anyone is interested. Its £28.95pp. It'll be a few months until the next one.

Our first lunch date is this Friday 24th April, we'll be open between 12pm and 2.30pm ish. Tables are to be booked which can be done via text or email: [email protected]

We're starting small for our first one while people get used to us opening one day here and there for just set lunches. Please remember we aren't a tea room anymore so there won't be cakes etc, just our set lunch menu.

Our next Afternoon Tea is Saturday 2nd May, there are a few tables left. The menu will be going on the website this week.

We hope everyones had a lovely Easter 🐣 so far. Our Spring afternoon tea went down well yesterday with everyone starting the tea with a glass of homemade cherry and elderflower fizz.

Our next Afternoon tea will be the early May bank holiday: Saturday 2nd May. The menu will be going on the website within the next 2 weeks and bookings are to be made via email: [email protected]

We'll be sorting a date for our first lunch soon and the dates will go on the website, so keep an eye on there.
The past few months, Rosie has been making alot of celebration fruit cakes, especially in the larger 10inch size . These need 6 weeks notice due to fruit soaking and time to feed.
You are welcome to get in touch with requests for orders and Rosie will see what she can do as she is only doing a couple days a week making food.
