We had the pleasure of helping Kyle and his groomsmen get ready before his ceremony. We spent the morning steaming shirts and kilts, making small tweaks and our usual tricks where required. All while keeping everyone calm and making them look their very best with a wee bonus tidy up of the room to make it easier for them to move on to the next room 🖤 thanks to Mum Karen for our lovely review 😘

“𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝘁?” 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s one of the most common questions we get - and honestly, it’s a fair one.

On the surface, it might look simple. A shirt, a jacket, a few accessories… how hard can it be?

But your wedding morning isn’t just about getting dressed. It’s a moment. And how that moment feels matters.

It’s making sure every detail is right - from the way your kilt sits, to your sporran, your jacket, your tie. It’s having someone there who knows exactly what they’re doing, so you don’t have to second guess anything. What if something doesn't sit right, do you have solutions to fix them? We do!

It's having someone to steam the shirts because you've forgot to take them out the packet. We'll tidy up so the room doesn't get cluttered, leaving you unable to find things, something you probably haven't considered.

It’s taking away the stress of “𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁?"
It’s keeping things calm when the room gets busy.
It’s guiding the group so no one’s standing around unsure and getting stressed trying to guess. Which leads you to running late.

And more than anything - it’s giving you space to 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 enjoy it. To not have to herd your groomsmen and rush about.

Because before you know it, you’re walking out the door to one of the biggest moments of your life.

And that’s why we do what we do.

Because every time, that same question turns into:

Be honest… who’s in charge of getting the lads dressed on the wedding morning? 😅
The best man? 🤷🏻‍♀️
The groom’s mum?
A quick YouTube tutorial?
When there’s a big group (especially in kilts), it can get chaotic fast.

At GetKilted, we’re there on the morning to:
✔️ Dress the groom and full party properly (laces and all!)
✔️ Make sure every kilt sits right
✔️ Fit buttonholes correctly (the great debate, left or right side?)
✔️ Keep everyone on time
✔️ Stop the last-minute panic, we have solutions to most small hiccups that occur, that other people won't think of.

We see this more often than we'd care to admit 😂 but not if you've booked us 💁🏻‍♀️😏
Socks and laces shouldn't move if they've been tied and fitted properly, easily overlooked but details matter to us. Grooms matter to us, they deserve a bit of attention and pampering just as much as the bride 🎩
