💙🎯 ARLO-FEST – LET’S SHOW WHAT OUR COMMUNITY CAN DO! 🎯💙
On Saturday 24th October, 11am–4pm, we’re hosting ARLO-FEST at the Welly!
Arlo has sadly had a relapse of leukaemia and at just 6 years old, Arlo has already been through more than most of us could imagine. Arlo will need further treatment and potentially a transplant away from home, while Jade and Ash are travelling to Nottingham daily, facing months away from work and doing everything they can to keep life as normal as possible for Arlo and his little sister Elsie. 💙
So… this is where Shirland and our amazing community come in.
We want ARLO-FEST to be a HUGE community fundraising day, with every penny we possibly can raise going towards helping Arlo and his family.

ENTRY IS COMPLETELY FREE, but we’re asking everyone to come down with DEEeeeEP POCKETS! 😂💰 Have a go on everything, buy the raffle tickets, eat the cake, empty the tombola, chuck some darts and help us absolutely smash the fundraising total!
🙋 WE NEED YOUR HELP TOO!
We’d LOVE to hear from anyone who can help make the day even bigger. We’re looking for volunteers to help run stalls and games, people or businesses who could donate raffle/tombola prizes, cake makers, entertainers, anyone wanting to run their own fundraising stall/activity, or anyone with a brilliant idea we haven’t thought of yet!
This isn’t just an event at the Welly - we want this to be a proper COMMUNITY event. 💙
Whether you can volunteer, donate something, organise an activity or simply turn up on the day and spend a few quid, every single bit of support counts.
Arlo is a massive darts fan, so it only seems right that we get those boards up, get the whole community together and aim for one big target…
