I am over the moon to finally be staying a little truer to my values by making my bubble bag bouquets and aqua box bouquets more eco friendly.
I had the biodegradable cellophane delivered this week, along with plastic free bouquet bags (made with natural Kraft card and jute handles), and will be using tissue paper to add some colour.
The flowers are tied with twine instead of plastic ribbon and the box decorated with a hessian or raffia bow.
This means that the whole thing can now be reused, composted, or recycled.
I have poly ribbon and regular cellophane to use up, so some bouquets may still be wrapped with these for a little while, but I won’t be purchasing any more 💚🌍🩵♻️
