We had a lovely meet & greet tonight with the absolutely adorable Jax 🐾🤍

The meet & greet went really well and Jax seemed to settle just fine as sometimes he can get a bit anxious with bigger dogs. He even took a real shine to Winnie 🥰, while Cielo, Benny & Max were far too busy doing their own thing, having a good sniff around and generally ignoring everyone! 😂🐶

Jax’s pawrents are getting married in just a few weeks, and we’re so excited to be part of their special day! 💍✨

He’s also booked in to stay with us the night before, so he can have a lovely, relaxed evening and a good night’s sleep before his all-important wedding duties. We want him feeling fresh, rested and ready to enjoy every moment of his big day! 🥰

We can’t wait to see this handsome boy all dressed up and ready to celebrate with his pawrents! 💙🐾

✨ Throwback Thursday ✨

This week’s throwback takes us back to 6th September 2024, when Winston’s pawrents tied the knot at the beautiful Banchory Lodge Hotel. 🐾🤍

It was the most beautiful day, and we were lucky enough to be onsite throughout the day to look after this very special wee boy and make sure he was part of all those precious wedding moments. 🥰

From keeping him happy and relaxed to making sure he was where he needed to be, we were there every step of the way, before eventually retiring to his room for a much-needed sleep after such an exciting day! 😴🐶

Another gorgeous wedding, another very special four-legged VIP, and memories we’ll treasure. ✨

✨ As we enter the latter part of 2026, we can’t quite believe how quickly this year is flying by! 💍🐾

We’ve already completed 19 wonderful weddings this year, with another 7 still to go, including a lovely home wedding, which will be a first for us! 🏡🐶 We’re so excited to be part of it. 💝

And while we’re still busy making memories with our 2026 couples, our 2027 diary is already 50% full! 😲✨

In fact, we’re already taking bookings for 2028! 🥂🐾

It’s incredible to see how our little Wedding Pet Chaperone business continues to grow year after year, and we’re so grateful to every couple who trusts us to care for their beloved fur babies on such an important day. 💖

🌈 Rest Easy, Rossco 🌈

One of the hardest parts of working with dogs is when you have to say goodbye to them. Over the years, we become so attached to the dogs in our care and they become such a special part of our lives, which makes losing them incredibly hard. 💔

Rossco, the most handsome St Bernard, first came to me 9 years ago, not long after I started my business. Over the years, we built such a lovely bond. I know I shouldn’t have favourites, but Rossco was definitely one of those special dogs. ❤️

He was such an easy boy to groom and would quite happily fall asleep on the grooming table while I worked my magic. When he came to us for day boarding, he absolutely loved lying outside in the snow. No matter how hard I tried to persuade him to come inside, he would completely refuse! 😂❄️

Sadly, a few years ago I had to give up grooming Rossco because of my carpal tunnel issues, but I was lucky enough to still keep in touch with his Mum and hear how he was getting on.🫶🏼

When I heard last week that he wasn’t doing too well, I took the opportunity to go and visit him. Of course, I couldn’t arrive empty handed, so I went armed with a packet of Rich Teas, his absolute favourite! 🥰🍪

I’m so incredibly glad I got that chance to spend some time with him.🫶🏼

Sadly, today Rossco crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🐾

I’m sure my Cooper will be waiting there to greet him and show him the ropes. 💙

Rest easy, big lad. You have left such a huge hole in our hearts, but you will never, ever be forgotten.

🐾✨ What a fantastic day at the Craigievar Hall Annual Dog Show! ✨🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made today such a brilliant event. We may not have had the sunshine, but thankfully we dodged the rain! ☔️🙌🐶

And a massive congratulations to Mango, our Best in Show winner 🏆, and Bailey, our Reserve Best in Show winner 🥈 both very worthy winners! 👏🐾

A special thank you to all the committee members who worked so hard behind the scenes to organise everything - these events don’t happen without all the time and effort that goes into them, and it was very much appreciated! 👏💕

✨ As August Comes to an End… ✨

As we come to the end of August, we’ve been looking back at what has already been an incredible 2026 wedding season! 🐾💍

So far, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of chaperoning 19 weddings, involving 30 gorgeous dogs across 12 beautiful venues, including a brand-new venue for us, Dounside! ✨

And we’re not finished yet… there are still 7 weddings to go! 🥂

One of those is a very special home wedding, which we’re particularly excited about, involving 3 lovely doggies. 🏡🐶🐶🐶

So, as we head into the final stretch of the season, we’re feeling incredibly grateful for every couple who has trusted us with their four-legged VIPs. ❤️

🐾✨ Little Maeve’s First Puppy Intro! ✨🐾

Adorable little Maeve came in today for her very first puppy intro — and at just 14 weeks old, she did absolutely brilliantly! 🥰💕

She was a wee bit unsure of the bath and drier, but we took everything at her pace with lots of patience, gentle encouragement and plenty of cuddles. 🛁🐶

What a gorgeous little girl, and such a fabulous first experience! 💗✨

Maddie was, of course, there to be part of her hooman sister’s special day, and we were absolutely delighted to be there to make sure she didn’t miss out on the celebrations. 🐾💖
