Where do you even begin when you’re asked to create Princess Diana entirely from flowers? 😮
This was probably one of the most challenging and exciting briefs I’ve ever taken on.
I didn’t want to simply recreate Diana. I wanted the flowers to tell a story.
Inspired by her visit to Nepal in 1993 and her work to challenge the stigma surrounding leprosy, every element of this piece was chosen to represent something from that story.
More than anything, I wanted this piece to reflect the human connection at the heart of Diana’s work. The way she saw the person beyond the disease, reached out, held hands and made people feel seen, valued and worthy of dignity. 🤍
A completely mad brief, an incredible team and a project I’ll never forget. 🤍
