Boogie Beat Music and Movement are supporting 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗽, a campaign calling for the Government to create a SEND access fund within the Every Child Can enrichment programme.

Too many children with SEND are missing out on out-of-school clubs and activities because the 1:1 support, additional staffing or reasonable adjustments they need are not funded.

Providers truly care and want to be able to include every child but sometimes if a child needs 1:1 support they have 3 hard options:
1. Absorb the cost and make a loss
2. Ask a parent to stay or
3. Turn the child away,
none of these options are ok so funding is needed.

Please consider signing this petition to help ensure the Government funds the necessary staff and provision children with SEND needs to access the activities they love.

We are supporting 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗽, a campaign led by Nicole Bateman, The Friendly SEND Advisor, calling for ring-fenced SEND access funding so disabled children and children with SEND can access the activities they love.

The campaign is currently gathering evidence from parents, carers and activity providers.

If your child has missed out on an activity because the right support was not available, please share your experience.

If you are a provider who has absorbed costs, asked a parent to stay, or felt unable to offer a place because 1:1 support was not funded, your voice matters too.

This month is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Here at Boogie Beat we have been helping children to feel less alone.

Imagine being a child and having to spend time in hospital or isolate at home before starting cancer treatment.

Days can feel long. You may miss your friends, your school, your usual activities and simply being able to play and have fun.

That’s why we’re incredibly proud to have created a special Boogie Beat Music & Movement video for children supported by Solving Kids’ Cancer UK. 🎶

Our video gives children the opportunity to join in with music, movement and imagination - wherever they are.

Because sometimes, something as simple as a song, a story and a chance to dance can bring a little bit of joy to a difficult day. 💛

We’re also fundraising to support the amazing work of Solving Kids’ Cancer UK.
