We’re incredibly proud to share that Connor from Alcester Academy won the Alcester Food Festival Bake Off this weekend!

His creativity, skill, and passion for baking truly impressed the judges, and he brought home a well-deserved win with his marvellous Jaffa Orange Tray Bake. What a fantastic achievement—well done, Connor!

Huge thanks to Nina Hatch and Nicola Jennings from the Cadbury Family Trust & Mount Pleasant School Farm, experienced patisserie chef and bakery manager Claire Tymoshushyn and Deputy Mayor Jill Forman for judging.

Also a special thank you to the Ragley Estate and Wildfarmed for donating sustainably grown ingredients for all schools, to Warwickshire County Council for their support and encouragement and last but not least to Countryside Classroom for their organisation and wonderful prizes for Connor and Alcester Academy Food Department.

A massive round of applause from us all!👏👏👏

Only 2 months since opening, and already a favourite in the community — serving up top-quality coffee with passion and personality. This recognition is so well deserved. Here’s to even more success ahead!

If you haven’t visited yet, now’s the time to see (and sip) what all the buzz is about!

Many thanks to our community hero Maggie Payne for giving her time and dedication to judging the award.
