This couple have chosen to have the billiard room adorned with pink bows and a flower arch - how lovely! 🌸

The museum will be open for visitors as usual, 12noon-4:30pm, with last entrance and purchase in the shop at 4pm.

What makes a wedding at Haworth Art Gallery and Museum unique? 💕🖼

The ceremony takes place in the Billiard Room which has on its walls some amazing art work including the portraits of our benefactors, brother and sister Anne and William Haworth. Up at the back of the oak dais, there are some beautiful Tiffany glass tiles on display. They were part of the original collection Joseph Briggs sent home to Accrington from New York in the early 1930’s.

You have exclusive use of the Billiard Room for 2 hours starting 30 minutes before your ceremony. This time extends if you opt for a package that includes your wedding breakfast and an evening party. The rest of the gallery (shop and exhibition rooms downstairs and upstairs) however remains open to the public during our opening hours (12 noon to 4:30pm) and closes to both public and the wedding party at 4:30pm.

What makes a wedding at Haworth Art Gallery and Museum unique?

Your wedding takes place amongst our wonderful heritage building and collections, including temporary art exhibitions. All the staff and volunteers are passionate about sharing this heritage with all our visitors including you and your wedding guests. There are no wedding co coordinators or planners, we are all visitor assistants and accommodating weddings is just one important aspect of our roles.

Wedding season at Haworth Art Gallery and Museum

Days are getting longer, nature in our grounds is blooming and wedding season has almost arrived 💍👰

We had a fantastic wedding open day event, earlier in the month, and we can't wait to celebrate the wonderful couples that are getting married with us this year!

Wedding Open Day: A big thank you
