Come and enjoy the wedding you want in Lancashire's only public Arts and Crafts house.

Our team is on hand to help you design the day you dream of in our Billiard Room designed to look like a grand hall. Set in 9 acres of parkland featuring a Rose Garden, woodland and meadows, Haworth Art Gallery is the perfect setting for bespoke and intimate weddings. Our Arts and Crafts building is handmade and features natural materials which reflect its surroundings. The Billiard room where wed

dings are held features hand carved oak dais or stage with arcades, balustrades and columns. Into the woodwork are carved animals, birds and foliage and original artwork is displayed in the room. All of this combines into the perfect setting for your wedding and reception. A variety of food packages are provided by the Gallery Kitchen who are based on site in the Dining Room. In the evening the Dining Room transforms into a space where you can dance the night away.

Haworth Art Gallery: Real Weddings

We were delighted to host a wedding last week. The bride choose a beautiful dress embroided in blue details, we had never seen one like that and we were captivated by it. The colour choice was mirrored in the bridesmaids' outfits, wonderful against the view of the West Pennine Moors.

All set up for a wedding tomorrow 🤍✨

The Billiard Room is looking gorgeous!
Our couple have opted for Package Option 2, which includes drinks after the ceremony. The Gallery Kitchen and the rest of the gallery remain open to the public.
Our opening times are 12 noon to 4:30 pm (last entry and shop closing at 4 pm).

Haworth Art Gallery and Museum: We have a wedding on today💍

We have the pleasure of hosting a wedding today. The Gallery Kitchen is closed to the public. Our Billiard Room won't be accessible to visitors but the rest of the museum is open for visitors as usual, 12-4:30pm, with last entrance and purchase in the shop at 4pm.

My working day: Visitor Assistant – Wedding season 💐

There are many hats I have to wear as a Visitor Assistant, and the fanciest one is for weddings. 🎩 Weddings aren't just a one-day event for us, but a process that starts months before the day with an enquiry meeting, and continues right up to when the couple walks out of the ceremony room as newly weds.

I enjoy assisting during weddings due to the variety of roles, from setting up the room for the ceremony, greeting the wedding guests to managing the timings for the day.

It is very special for me to sit in the ceremony and play the music, from the bridal entrance to the couple's first walk as newly weds.

We have a wonderful team of volunteers helping with all aspects of the day.

We just had to share how gorgeous the Billiard Room looked set up for the wedding breakfast at last weeks wedding. 💐

The couple chose such a beautiful scheme, which their external suppliers and The Gallery Kitchen, made into a reality.

Haworth Art Gallery and Museum: Arts and Crafts

Our beautiful Grade II listed building is the perfect background for your special day.
An Arts and Crafts house in the Country Style, where the sun casts light and shadows on the decorative skilfully carved sandstone.

Beautiful triplicate chimney stacks on the roof, perforated parapets and unusual grotesques complete the interesting and captivating façade.
