We don’t often get the opportunity to perform as a full studio in a public setting, as most of what we do is shared with our families or at smaller competitions with our team.

For this event, we opened it up to anyone who wanted to take part, and the response was incredible. Our students put in extra lessons, worked so hard, and dedicated themselves to making sure our performance was something special for the community to enjoy.

I always remind them that when they wear our uniform, they represent everything we stand for as a studio—and once again, they made us proud. They rose to the challenge and showed everyone on that field, including many people seeing us for the very first time, exactly what we can do!

So unbelievably proud of our students today! 💜

They performed a set at Roversfest and, although we couldn’t quite fit on the stage, they took it all in their stride. Ever the professionals, we had a quick rehearsal backstage and were good to go. Give us a bit of grass to dance on and we’re there! 👍

They spent the day watching all the other acts, singing and dancing along to the performers on stage, and then when it was their turn, they switched straight into performance mode and delivered another brilliant routine.

Every one of our students was a credit to the studio today. They are so disciplined when it comes to representing us – from their hair and uniforms to their behaviour and attitude. They also had fantastic support from our dance families. Thank you all so much. You know what I’m like when it comes to preparation, and today it definitely paid off! 💜 They absolutely smashed it!

It was lovely to sit in the sunshine, chat with everyone, and watch the students simply enjoy spending time together.

And yes… sorry not sorry for suggesting a team trip down the giant bouncy slide after we’d danced! 😂 It was great fun!

A huge thank you to all the organisers for inviting us to take part. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic day of entertainment, and hopefully it’ll be back again next year while helping the club raise some amazing funds. 🙌🏻

We are officially starting the show preparation process! Over the next few weeks, there will be more items to tick off the list as we journey towards show day.

Dance may be “just a hobby” to some, but teaching dance comes with a huge responsibility — one I’ve carried proudly for almost 20 years.

The students I teach may not always remember every class when they step into the bigger world, but I carry every memory, every event, and every experience with me into every lesson I teach.

My goal has always been to make sure every young person who walks into my class knows this:
I’m here. I support you. I care deeply about what I do.

Because they matter. And they always will ❤️

✨ Qualified teacher training & DBS checks
✨ Admin systems, bookings & communication
✨Flooring & studio maintenance (dance flooring, mirrors, barres, repairs)
✨Sound systems & technology
✨Website hosting & booking software subscriptions
✨First aid supplies & safety equipment
✨Marketing & advertising
✨Uniform stock & merchandise allowing us to keep costs low for uniforms and shoes
✨Teacher wages, student teacher wages
✨Staff wages outside teaching hours (rehearsals, events)
