The Illusion Fireworks team is on the ground in beautiful Donostia / San Sebastián ahead of tomorrow’s grand closing pyromusical for the 60th San Sebastián International Fireworks Contest! 🎆🎶

Preparations are underway for our almost half-hour spectacular — a unique collaboration with Pirotecnia Martí (Valencia) and an epic laser show from PirolaserFX. Tomorrow night, the sky will dance with colour, music, and 60 years of magic. 💥

🇪🇸 SAN SEBASTIÁN… WE’RE COMING! 🇪🇸

We are beyond thrilled to announce that the Illusion Fireworks team is heading to Donostia / San Sebastián, Spain with the honour of providing the grand closing pyromusical for the 60th San Sebastián International Fireworks Contest!

On Saturday 16th August 2025, we’ll join creative forces with our friends at Pirotecnia Marti for an unforgettable finale to Semana Grande.

🎶💥 “60 Urtez, Sua izan gara” (“For 60 years, we have been the fire”) will be an almost half-hour spectacular — choreographed live to musical performances, enhanced by a dazzling laser show from PirolaserFx, and filling the bay with colour, rhythm, and emotion.

In yet another landmark UK–Spanish collaboration blending the bold, theatrical style of Illusion Fireworks with the rich tradition and vibrant colour of Valencian fireworks — a truly one-of-a-kind fusion in honour of six decades of magic above San Sebastián.
