What a pleasure it was to capture Pete & Lou’s incredible wedding day at Mercure Oxford Hawkwell House recently! 🥂✨

Nestled in the heart of Iffley Village, Hawkwell House is easily one of my favorite local spots to shoot. It offers that rare combination of tranquil, picturesque gardens and beautiful modern interiors. Combined with a couple as warm and fun-loving as Pete and Lou, it made for an unforgettable day filled with genuine moments, big laughs, and gorgeous light.

From the quiet pre-ceremony excitement to the high-energy celebrations on the dance floor, my goal was to capture the authentic vibe of their day so they can relive it for decades to come.

Part one began with an intimate, classic civil ceremony at the historic Dexter Room in Oxford. But part two? That took us down near Southampton for a vibrant, energy-packed Indian celebration that was nothing short of extraordinary.

✨ A Dreamy Oxford Day: Catherine & Rohan Day 1 !!! ✨

There’s something completely magical about an Oxford wedding. From timeless, historic architecture to serene moments right on the water, Catherine and Rohan’s special day was absolute perfection from start to finish! 🥂🌿

We kicked off their celebrations with an intimate ceremony at The Dexter Room at the Oxford Register Office—a gorgeous setting filled with so much love, joyful tears, and happy smiles. Afterwards, the new Mr & Mrs headed down to the river for an unforgettable reception at The Cherwell Boathouse.

With the backdrop of people punting along the River Cherwell, clinking champagne glasses in the sun, and celebrating with their favourite people… it truly couldn't have been more romantic. 🛶💍

Capturing these genuine, candid moments is exactly why I love what I do.

It was an absolute pleasure to photograph Tom and Alicia's beautiful wedding at the stunning Mercure Hawkwell House Hotel in Oxford.

From the excitement of the morning preparations to the packed dance floor celebrations later in the evening, their day was filled with laughter, happy tears, and so many unforgettable moments. The love these two share was evident in every glance, every smile, and every moment spent together.

Mercure Hawkwell House Hotel provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding, with its beautiful gardens, elegant surroundings, and relaxed atmosphere creating endless opportunities for gorgeous photographs. The sunshine, the amazing guests, and a couple who simply couldn't stop smiling made my job incredibly easy!

As a wedding photographer, these are the days I love most—capturing genuine moments, real emotions, and all those little memories that might otherwise pass by in a blur.
