The biggest wedding planning mistake I see brides make isn’t overspending or picking the wrong colour scheme.

It’s planning every detail of the day, and forgetting to plan who actually runs it.

You spend years perfecting the dress, the flowers, the little touches nobody else would notice. Then the day arrives and you’re the one being asked where the favours go and whether the band can come in yet.

So instead of soaking it all in, you’re managing it. The planner, the host and the bride, all at once.

The fix is simple. One person owns the logistics, and every supplier works from the same timeline. That’s the difference between watching your day happen and living it.

An Extra Special Wedding ✨🤍

Some weddings you get the pleasure of coordinating. This one I got to coordinate and share in the love.

I had the absolute pleasure of helping setting up Hayley Scott and wedding reception the night before, then celebrating it as a guest.

Pouring all my love into the details for two people so dear to me after over 7 years of friendship, then soaking up the day right there with them, was the greatest gift. Lucky me indeed. ❤️✨

And what a day it was, held up by an epic line up of suppliers and a venue who each have my whole heart and my highest recommendation.

Am to Pm. This is what a full day of wedding coordination really looks like.

Morning. The venue doors open, the kit bags are unpacked and the day begins. Somewhere in Berkshire or Oxfordshire, a couple is getting ready to marry.

Late morning. Suppliers are arriving, the room is coming together and every detail is being checked and checked again.

Afternoon. The ceremony is done, the couple are married and the celebration is in full swing.

Evening. The dancefloor is packed, the couple are beaming and the day has been everything they dreamed of.

One couple. One day. A thousand little moments that made it perfect.
