Remodelled in the early 18th century, Kingston Bagpuize House is a beautiful historic house located in the Vale of the White Horse in Oxfordshire. It remains a much loved family home. Despite the long drought there are still plenty of vibrant colours on display in the garden!

If you'd like to visit we'll be open tomorrow, on Sunday 9th August, and the day after, on Monday 10th August.

The House and Garden will be open from 14:00 until 17:00, with the last entry to the House at 16:00.

Assistance dogs only.
Limited wheelchair access.

Here are a few more photos of the garden, taken over the last week. The plans are enjoying the sun (although they're quite thirsty!). We've even been fortunate to see our Wisterias flower a second time!

If you'd like to visit, the House and Garden will be open tomorrow afternoon from 14:00 onwards, and again on Monday.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today at Kingston Bagpuize House for the Rare Plant Fair.

It was a beautiful summer day in wonderful surroundings, with busy plant stalls, knowledgeable exhibitors and plenty of visitors enjoying the gardens and fair.

Our thanks to all the nurseries, the team at Kingston Bagpuize House, and everyone who came along and supported the event.

We now look forward to our next Rare Plant Fair at High Glanau Manor on Sunday 31st May.

🌿 Don’t forget — this weekend 🌿

The Rare Plant Fair returns to Kingston Bagpuize House, Abingdon this Sunday (24th May, 11am–4pm).

Join us for a wonderful day of specialist nurseries, unusual and high-quality plants, beautiful gardens and a relaxed late-spring atmosphere.

We’re also pleased to be supporting SeeSaw Grief Support and the Riding for the Disabled Association on the day.
