SUB CULTURE 004 – BUSH BDAY BASH 🖤

We had some time to reflect and Last Friday reminded us again what Sub Culture is really about.

It’s more than just a night now it’s becoming a real community of people who love the music, the atmosphere and being together in a space where everyone can let go for a few hours. Seeing so many familiar faces alongside new ones all bringing that same energy honestly means everything to us.

Thanks to The Angel for giving us the space for us to do what we do and even though the night ended earlier than planned, the love and support in that room before that happened was something special. The dancefloor energy, the smiles, the people travelling far and wide, the messages afterwards… none of it goes unnoticed.

Massive thank you to all the Artists on the line up you smashed your sets, special mention to Luke and Nick for liasing with the artists getting them here and back safely... Top top lads , every friend offering a hand and helping behind the scenes, and every single person who stepped through those doors and supported our little event .

Huge thank you to 5HA5H for flying over from Austria and being part of such a special moment for us all. Keeping his set a complete secret for months so we could surprise Bush with one of his favourite DJs made the whole thing even more unforgettable.
The fact he fully embraced the madness as well and turned up in the Darth Maul costume just sums up the kind of person he is 😂 absolute legend.

Embarking on a journey back in 2007, HighThere found his heart captivated by the mesmerizing world of drum & bass. 🔊💫
From the tranquil streets of Ulm in Southern Germany to the vibrant heart of Berlin, where he settled in 2016, his journey mirrors his eclectic sound. 🌍🎶
In 2020, the spotlight found him as he clinched the title of ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Drum and Bass Awards Germany, solidifying his position as a rising star in the scene. 🏆⚡

Repping West Wales, TN and Soulja bring years of experience and a shared mission to push neurofunk in a scene that’s been crying out for it. Alongside them, NBA returns for her third time on the decks, bringing that same weight and energy back to the dance. ⚡
TN, with a decade in the scene, brings relentless energy, deep grooves, and razor-sharp blends fully locked into that techy, Czech style neurofunk sound and always driving things forward. 🧠🔊

We had to run this one back… after absolutely smashing it last time, Kaizen Flow & Scalez return — but this time for a special B2B set. 🚀⚠️
Scalez, repping Reading, has been making serious noise in the neuro scene with releases on Eatbrain, Neuroheadz, Bass Rabbit, Murmuration and more. Since his last set, he’s gone international — making his debut in the Czech Republic and dropping his track “Void” on Neuro Session, pushing his sound even further into the scene. 💣🌍
Alongside him, Kaizen Flow brings that signature precision-engineered neurofunk. Based out of London, his sound is built on deep basslines, crisp drums, and meticulous sound design. With releases on Eatbrain, Hanzom Music, Neuroheadz, Korsakov, VTO, In The Lab, Expedite, he’s been steadily cementing his place as a serious name in the game. ⚙️🧠

Hailing from Mid Wales, Concussion spent much of his early career smashing vinyl sets in Bristol, supporting some of the biggest names in DnB. 💿🔥
In recent years, he’s made the move from DJ to producer to label owner, capturing what it truly means to be well-rounded in this fast-paced industry. ⚙️🎶 Now running the label BEAST, he’s pushing forward-thinking sounds with raw underground energy. 🐗🔊
Joining him on the B2B is Ezra — a DJ and radio host based in Bristol, inspired by sound system culture and the free party movement. 🔊🌍
Ezra’s sets are all about high-energy rave music — thunderous basslines, piercing amen breaks, double drops, and vocal chops. Blending ragga jungle, DnB, UKG, and breaks, he brings a proper party-starting sound every time. 💥🎛️
