We are now into my favourite time of year. For a few years now I have enjoyed dressing my friends Sian and Michaels beautiful house, ready for Christmas. Every year Sian and I get together and plan which theme to go for next.
Last year it was winter white. This year however we decided on something totally different.
The main theme is the famous department store Fortnum and Mason. Their Christmas tree decorations are really cute with their brand colour Eau de Nil.
We were pleased with the end result, as it’s good to have a change.
As usual I would like to say a big thank you to Sian’s husband for keeping me fortified with his homemade cawl.
Thanks for your hospitality, and I wish you both and the rest of your family a very happy Christmas. ###

I love this time of year. It’s the start of the Christmas season for me. Every year I dress my good friend Sian’s beautiful house with Christmas decorations. Last year the theme was black and gold this year Sian chose white, silver and frosted decorations. The house looked like a winter wonderland.
My favourite part of the day is when Sian serves beautiful homemade cawl which her husband Michael makes with fresh crusty bread.

Last weekend(9th and 10th February) I had the wonderful opportunity to style the hall at St Mary’s Priory Abergavenny. Lisa Dando, the Facilities Manager and I worked together to create a delightful room layout for a wedding reception photo shoot. The hall is perfect for lots of celebrations. Wedding Anniversaries, birthday parties and christenings etc etc.
At Mary’s Priory has been called the Westminster Abbey of Wales.
They have a lovely choir and the bell ringer’s are pretty good too.

It’s that time of year. I’ve just finished decorating a house for a very special lady. This year’s theme? A chic and elegant mix of Black, Gold, and Silver. Every year I love experimenting with different colours and elements, and this years combination really created a magical atmosphere with a glamorous feel. I love the opportunity to sprinkle a little extra sparkle each year.

Congratulations to my lovely God-daughter and her wonderful husband Sean on their marriage (3rd September 2023)
They chose the beautiful Blakelands Country House at Bobbington for their special day.
It was a busy day for Chris and myself as we were also attending as wedding guests.
Thankfully Sarah and I had arranged a lovely florist named Samantha from Willow and Thorn, Moseley, to create beautiful bridal flowers and table centrepieces.
I just want to mention a few names that did a fantastic job.
The beautiful bridesmaids who supported Sarah on the best day of her life.
The really lovely lady from Nuthouse Bakery who made the wedding cake. Laura also made Sarah’s sister Emily’s wedding cake four years ago, so Sarah knew she was getting the best.
After the wedding breakfast we were treated to some music and fun from Undercover Artists posing as waiting staff.
Last of all I want to thank Paul and Heather, proprietors of Blakelands Country House and their friendly and professional team for helping to make the day just perfect.
