Jane was the celebrant at our wedding this summer and we couldn't be happier with our choice. She helped us create a ceremony which we felt was truly special and unique to us.

She spoke to us several times in advance of the day, learning about our story and putting together a perfect ceremony for us. She was so easy to work with and responsive to all of our requests and questions.

During the ceremony Jane kept us at ease whilst getting everyone crying and laughing in equal measure, and many of our guests mentioned how perfect it was.

Jane is hilarious! Her laugh and enthusiasm is electric and you can't help but join her on a crazy journey when she starts speaking. Jane crafted the most beautiful ceremony for us and it had our friends laughing and crying throughout. Jane was calm throughout the planning and offered lots of a support and advice with our vows, as well as just to deal with the stress of planning a wedding! She's one of a kind and I can't thank her enough xx Gill

Jane is truly such a gifted celebrant. The first meeting between us, she just completely got us as a couple, got our vision and fully embraced it. Jane made everything so easy and run so smoothly and helped to calm me down and keep me focussed when our photographer hadn't shown up.All the guests said what a truly special, heartfelt and personal service it was and how entertaining Jane is as a celebrant.
I cannot recommend Jane enough, you will be in the best of hands and will have an event that is unique, memorable, personal and so special.

People often ask me how do you choose a celebrant and I always reply look at their website and social media posts but most importantly meet them in person because that is the only way you will know if they are the person you want to create your ceremony, to be with you through all of those precious moments and to share your story with your famoly and friends! If you don't click, if they don't 'hear' you, if they don't havd the right energy then move on!! Thats one of the reasons that wedding fairs can be so helpful as you get chance to talk you people and get a feel for them. So if you're starting to plan your day, or even if you're just thinking about it pop down to UWE and have a chat - I might even explain why I earned the

Every so often you get the opportunity to wear something a little different to conduct a ceremony because it really reflects the life and passions of the person. It was wonderful to see all the friends and family of this young man dressed in ways which totally celebrated him and the incredible, creative and totally bonkers man he was. So much love in the room.

Please respond to the ‘Tying the Knot’ government proposals - Consultation closes on THURSDAY!!

Hopefully many of upi have seen and read the consultation document on reforming marriage law in England and Wales that was published by the Ministry of Justice at the end of July.

The proposals seem to very well considered, and an excellent framework has been produced, based on the research carried out by the Law Commission. If the proposals are carried through, it will bring much needed choice to weddings, making the option to marry more attractive and flexible for couples. The role of the independent celebrant is discussed fully so please look carefully at sections 6 and 7 in particular!

This is your chance to tell the government what you would like to see happen and suggest ideas directly to them. Please ask your family and friends to respond as well. Whether you are engaged and wanting options, already married and wish there had been more flexibility or just want your children and grandchildren to have the possibility of having a wedding ceremony which feels personal and meaningful to them or if you don't want change then now is your chance to make a difference. Thank you!
