Hi Everyone,

It's been some time since we posted on our page. It's the end of an era for One Day Events after nearly 7 years of trading! Due to covid and changing family circumstances we had started to wind down the business. Unfortunately our storage unit recently had a leak and 90% of our stock was completely ruined. It's been an upsetting way to close as a business. With only one final wedding to complete, this wasn't how we wanted to finish trading 😔

Thank you so much to all our clients who have supported us over the years. It was a pleasure to be a part of your day and we were honoured that you chose us 🥰

Hey everyone! It's been a while since we posted on our page. We are utterly devastated that our brides and grooms have had to move their wedding dates due to coronavirus 😥 We've been busy working behind the scenes to rearrange all your dates and all our weddings until November 2020 have been postponed until 2021. A difficult decision for you all but given the current situation it's a wise decision. Looking forward to working with you all next year 😘

Hello everyone, we hope you had a wonderful Christmas celebrating with your loved ones 🥂 It has been a busy year and yesterday was our last wedding of the year!

Huge congratulations to Claire and Allan on becoming the new Mr & Mrs Oman 😍 It was a beautiful initiate wedding. They hired our white arched chair covers and alternating navy and silver organza sashes, lanterns and mixed rose petals for the ceremony. With our silver sequin tablecloth and white winter wonderland trees completing the look for their winter wedding 💗

Many Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs O'Donnell who became man and wife on Saturday 🥂

They hired our white arched chair covers, navy chiffon ruffle hoods, hurricane vases filled with crystals and candles and rose petals to create a romantic look for the ceremony 😍 The hurricane vases doubled up as centrepieces and looked beautiful with our white hydrangea wreaths, which we absolutely love! So pretty and elegant and the matching top table decor completed the look ❤️

Our postbox was looking rather impressive as always! The beautiful on the day stationery, which you will see in many of the photos was provided by the talented Rachel Duncan of Jelly Penguin Graphics (Can't seem to tag the business page). The LOVE letters by Illumin8.

Thank you to Colleen and Greig for choosing us for your venue dressing. You both looked absolutely stunning and we hope you had the most amazing day! Wishing you a life of love and happiness 💗 ###

Here's to the new Mr & Mrs Mcdonald who said I do yesterday 🥂 We loved the Autumn theme 🎃

The ceremony decor was a mix of lanterns, leaves, pine cones and the floral arch in red, burgundy and orange roses with sunflowers 😍 The theme carried on for the tables with ivy, pine cones, mixed leaves, lanterns and Becca’s gin bottles. Pretty and stunning flowers!

The arch looked fabulous behind the cake and perfect for framing the cutting the cake moment 💗

Our personalised chalkboard was out again and we loved the request for a wedding #

Hip hip hooray to the new Mr & Mrs Grant who became man and wife yesterday 🥂

They chose our white arched chair covers, navy chiffon ruffle hoods with white roses, along with our candelabras, which were decorated by the talented florists at Audstar. With our personalised double sided chalkboard welcomed all their guests 😍

The pine cones and candle centrepieces and matching top table decor were perfect for a Autumn wedding! With the candelabras looking pretty either side of the top table. Love candles 💗 The postbox was standing proud again, which proved a hit with the guests!

Claire and Adam thank you for choosing us to do your venue dressing. Always a pleasure to dress a friends wedding! You both looked fantastic and Claire's dress was absolutely stunning. Wishing you both all the best as you start your journey as man and wife. Much love 🥰 ###

Huge congratulations to Katy and Paul who became Mr & Mrs Rooke yesterday 😍 It was a beautiful Autumn day, with the sun shining and blue skies. The perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony!

They chose our lanterns with a mixture of blush, ivory and plum silk roses to line the aisle. We decorated the arch with matching silk roses, which looked so beautiful and completed the look for the ceremony 😍

The lanterns doubled up as centrepieces, which looked great with our plum satin table runners. With our favourite prop the postbox completing the décor for the wedding!

A beautiful day for a beautiful couple 💗 It’s always an honour to do the venue dressing for a friend’s wedding. You both looked absolutely stunning and Max was the cutest toddler I’ve ever seen in a kilt!

Many congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Geddes who said I do yesterday 🥂

Jade chose white arched chair covers and alternating organza sashes in plum and grey. Our floral arch looked beautiful full of lilac grey and plum silk roses, with our white aisle runner, lanterns and mixed rose petals creating a romantic look for the ceremony 😍

The arch was moved after the ceremony and really made a statement behind the cake table, ready for that all important cutting the cake moment. Cake by the very talented Truly Scrumptious - Cakes by Joanna. It looked absolutely scrumptious 😋

Our postbox was standing proud next to one of many beautiful signs created by the girls Jelly Penguin Graphics. They always do the most gorgeous vinyl signs and their floor standing seating plan is always a popular look! Love it 💗

Huge congratulations to our newlyweds Julia and Hamish ❤️ We provided our crisp white aisle runner and lanterns for the ceremony with the lanterns doubling up as beautiful centrepieces 😍 Our silver table number holders made a big statement and looked great on the tables. A pretty and elegant look! The chair covers were the hotels own.
