Before the first light touched the hills, Marko’s burning torch glowed softly against the darkness, its light weaving through the mist as he guided Casey through the Highlands. The stillness of dawn, the crunch of earth beneath their feet, the sound of pipes drifting through Glencoe. It all felt suspended in time.

Contrary to popular belief, we feel the best months to elope in Scotland are September to April. The colder seasons bring moodier skies, softer light and fewer tourists, especially in places like the Isle of Skye.
