Hey Folks, it’s been a while!
Life has been a world wind the past year and a half… I’m absolutely loving being a mummy to our little daughter but since having her things have changed so much and it’s no longer right for our family for me to continue with this business.

I have absolutely loved being apart of every single wedding I’ve styled and it’s been a true pleasure to work with all my couples.
Over the past 5 years I’ve met so many lovely couples and people in the industry and have found a few life long friends too!

My final wedding is at the end of December which I can’t wait to go out with a bang…. Probably a few tears too as I have loved doing this.

I will be selling all my stock items if anyone needs anything for their company/ own wedding decor. Just give me a message.

What’s next? Not sure … possibly train as a nurse when Andi is a bit older as my other passion is all things hospital/ surgery etc but for now I’m enjoying what little time I have with my baby before she grows.

Thank you all for your support and having me as part of your special day. it’s been a true privilege ❤️

2025 couples, it’s finally the year you get married!
I am currently still on maternity leave looking after our daughter. At the moment the plan is to start slowly working on the business again around March time. I will then be contacting all my couples in order and will be working on May/June weddings first and so forth.

Can’t wait to work with you all soon!

Did you know that we also make bridal bouquets & buttonholes to coordinate with your styling?
This beautiful garden style bouquet with mixed textures and a stunning soft colour palette is an example of one of our medium sized bouquets.

For your bridal party we would create a smaller version of your bridal bouquet so they all complement each other giving you cohesive details throughout your photographs.

Happy new year and congratulations to anyone who became engaged over the festive period.
I know it’s late, but better late than never!
Unfortunately I’ve been feeling poorly and have been in hiding with this awful cold that’s doing the rounds… still feeling bad but hopefully I’m starting to see the light… through the curtains ; )

2024 is looking to be an amazing year. We have so many weddings booked in that are going to be absolutely stunning.

You guys are going all out and I’m so here for it…Bring on wedding season 2024!

Centrepieces can have a big impact on your day. Not just with the look but your guest experience.

One thing I always recommend is to think about how your Centrepieces will impact your day, you want them to be beautiful and finish your table decor but we don’t want them to get in the way of your guest having a good time.

Either go very tall with your arrangement so it’s not in the way of your guest view or choose something lower like this fresh flower arrangement. Looks beautiful, smells amazing and your guests will be able to see over it so it won’t get in the way and impact their experience of socialising with other guests at their table.

Recently I organised a styled shoot out at the amazing Barra Castle as it’s one of my favourite venues. Such a fab blank canvas!

As always I had the lovely Sophie Alexandria Photography behind the camera and she’s gone and done it again… absolutely blown away by the photos. Hard to choose a favourite but I do love this one!

Future barra brides, what do you think?… I styled a sweetheart table but imagine all those flowers along the front of your top table 🥰 sometimes less isn’t more… sometimes more is just right!

From first meeting you at the P&J Live Wedding Exhibition with my mum in 2022, I knew instantly I wanted to book you as our wedding stylist. Your stand oozed the vibe I had worked up in my head, and above that we just totally clicked!

From bombarding you with hundreds of messages with all the different ideas, to countless venue visits, you were always so honest and patient with me. Our styles are very similar, so this gave me such confidence that no matter what we went for, it would look incredible. When finally deciding on the finer details, I couldn’t wait to see the outcome! You have such an eye for detail and are beyond talented in your line of work, which is seen in all our wedding photos. I remember walking into the barn after our ceremony and my jaw literally hit the floor, it all looked UNREAL! It was more than we could ever imagine, it was just perfect. Emma & Mark at The Old Course St Andrews

As a former wedding cake designer before expanding into this career I always recommend making a feature of your cake with your styling.
So much work goes into creating your cake and you spend alot of money so it’s a shame that usually most venues just have a place in a corner where it doesn’t get shown off.
The cake cutting is such a big moment where all your guests love coming up and getting lots of photos so why not make that area look amazing like this one,

A simple way to make an impact is to reuse the ceremony archway around the cake which looks amazing and doesn’t add any extra cost.

Let’s start at new wedding trend & listen to Mr Sawzey ‘ nobody puts cake in the corner’… well unless that corner looks fabulous like this one!

Buttonholes for the Groom & Groomsmen,

Usually when chatting to most Grooms they say they don’t want anything too big and girly… don’t worry we’ve got you covered!

if you want a buttonhole to compliment the bridal bouquet or If it’s something traditional with a thistle we like to keep them nice and dainty, just big enough so they don’t get lost on your lapel but not too big that you feel like you have a flower bush sitting on your shoulder…. And don’t worry we show you how to attach them or we can do it for you on the day.
