MEET ME // Hi, I’m Carla 🙏🏼

There’s lots of new faces here lately so I think it’s time to say hello. I’m not using my usual “photographer” photo for this because I think it’s important to show who I am on here. Yes, I absolutely look like that on your wedding day but for full disclosure, when I’m not capturing wonderful weddings, I’m in full hiking/outdoor gear and exploring new places with my dog Cooper. This is basically my identity outside of work and I’m in love with it. Full embracing my dog mom era ✨

We love walking/hiking and going away, including using our tentbox. This is where I find my peace and it makes me so happy that I get to share this with Coop.

I’m 35 years old, living in South Wales, UK. I do still currently work full time and work weddings, looking to move fully into this business again in 2026. I was full time before covid at the start of 2020, however panicked and started working again due to the uncertainty that this time brought.

Family photography was my first love and still a very important part of my work today, as well as working with numerous brands with my dogs account 🙏🏼

I feel like it’s super important to show your personality through these accounts, and something I’ve definitely been lacking as I probably put more effort into other socials but I want to show you who I am.

As a wedding photographer I’m very chilled out and will ensure you have a totally calm day while capturing everything as naturally as possible. I believe in being yourselves, and know that this is impossible if you’re being forced to pose or you are concerned about where the camera is. I see myself as being a nostalgic storyteller. Telling your story throughout the day, as-well as capturing key moments that you’ll look back on for years to come. My style is moody, but I promise you I’m nice 💁🏼‍♀️ I also HATE having my photo taken, so believe me when I say I GET IT!

My diary is currently open for 2025 and 2026 and I’m already super excited to meet you all. My DM’s are also always open for any questions ✨

It’s been a bit busy here this week! I turned 35, went to the Cotswolds for an amazing Wedding set up and had lots to do in between.

I have some family sessions to finalise this weekend and these will be with everyone who’s waiting by tomorrow evening and some exciting meetings with new couples over the next two days which fills my heart.

There’s quite a lot going on behind the scenes at the moment which I’m incredibly grateful for and as a heads up, I’ll be changing my pricing back to where it was before I had some time off soon, but an announcement will be added tomorrow about this. This won’t effect any of my current couples 🤍

I can’t believe it’s already February! I did feel like January dragged, but I didn’t? It was weird. This is my birthday month and I have so many lovely things planned 🥰

How’s all the wedding planning going?

So much going on here which is super exciting 🥹

I have two workshops booked in venues I’ve always wanted to shoot at, lots of exciting family sessions coming up and booked some wonderful weddings for the end of the year. 2026 is booking up quickly considering we’re only in January which I’m so so grateful for. If you have enquired for 2026, please don’t hesitate as my dates are booking up quickly!

I can probably take on one more wedding for 2025 and then I’ll be closing my books. I’ll also be changing my prices in the next few months back to what they were last year so if you’d like to make the most of my current packages, please get in touch ✨

Anyone else absolutely fed up of the moody weather? 😂

I’m genuinely not one to be really bothered by Winter weather but when all the decent days are falling on days that I have to work, it’s getting a little boring 😂 I had planned to make the most of a few days off and go away in the Tentbox but the weather has had other ideas for me.

Roll on lighter evenings and (hopefully) a dryer Spring 💕
