I hope we are all feeling fully recovered following the Jubilee weekend!
We hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed all its activities.
We would just like to say thank you to a few of the many wonderful people that made this weekend possible.
Firstly thank you to Paul Sugg and Johnathan Spencer for starting the jubilee committee and getting this whole weekend started!
Secondly thank you to Mike Miners, Nigel Telford, Lorraine Dalley and Steve Beer for representing your respective groups and liaising between everyone!
Thank you to Carmen Hardway for all of your work with the Childrens activities, goody bags and memorabilia!
You all did so much more than can be mentioned here, thank you for you for volunteering and giving your time up!
Thank you to Nigel and Sue Melville for organising all the beautiful banners and bunting and for the 'Old Abbotsbury exhibition'
Thanks to Andrew Mackenzie and Margaret Preuss-higham for the exhibition in the church.

Abbotsbury Old Schoolhouse Tea Rooms for the delicious cakes!
Abbotsbury Beachcombers for organising the band and skittles night! Of course we would also like to thank Monkey Jump for putting on such a great show!
Ollie Adderley and Ilchester estates for the Beacon and lighting the chapel and generally putting up with all of our questions 🤣
There are of course so many more people to thank for getting this weekend together and you all did so much more than mentioned here, so thank you to everyone for volunteering your time and for all your effort, it could not have been done without any of you!
