To my wonderful flower market family, 🌸

They say flowers are the language of the heart, and my heart is feeling very full (and a little heavy) today.

I’ve officially sold my house and will soon be moving back home to Scotland.

This means my time at Marciac market is coming to an end.

To my loyal customers who came to see me every single week: thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Your support, your kind words, and the way you welcomed my blooms into your homes has meant the world to me.

I truly loved my flowers, but I loved my clients even more.

It breaks my heart a little to say goodbye, but I’m leaving with a heart full of happy memories.

Thank you for being part of this beautiful journey with me. 💐✨

When I first began farming, I didn’t just want to grow flowers. I wanted to grow better: better soil, better ecosystems, better ways of understanding the land. I’ve spent the last 2 years studying regenerative farming through hands-on training, countless courses, and hundreds of hours of podcasts and books. Everything I’ve learned has shown me one simple truth:

Healthy soil changes everything.

This year, (March 2026) I have the opportunity to take this knowledge far beyond my own farm.

I’ll be travelling to Kenya with The Nasio Trust a charity working in one of the poorest regions of the country. Many families there live in simple mud huts, with limited access to reliable food. The soil is tired, resources are few, and hunger is a daily reality.

But I believe in the power of teaching skills that last.

During my time in Kenya, I’ll be working directly with local communities to share the regenerative farming methods I’ve learned, showing families how to:

Rebuild their soil

Grow their own food

Create sustainable systems that support them long into the future

This isn’t a short-term fix.

It’s knowledge that can help communities feed themselves for generations.

To make this mission possible, I’m fundraising for the tools, and materials needed to support the people I’ll be teaching. Every contribution,no matter the size, helps provide practical, life-changing training for families who deserve the chance to grow their own food and build a more secure future.

I’m passionate, I’m prepared, and I’m committed to making a genuine difference.

With your support, we can plant the seeds of hope - and help Kenya families grow.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

If you would like to help? Perhaps you would consider donating?

All funds go to providing materials and aid to the community in Kisumu Kenya.

My Favourite plant …(today 😂)

This perennial is actually a herb but I use it as a filler in my bouquets.

More importantly for your garden - Figwort is one of the most prolific nectar producers in the plant world! A must grow for all beneficial insects.

Grows to around a meter high with an abundance of long stems. While the flowers are small and cute … it’s the seed pods I use.

I’ll have a small amount of plants for sale in January.

( if you were part of the gardening club who visited me in the summer - this was the little plant you received: I hope you planted in your garden)

Honeywort: my favourite stem that was never in a bouquet!

I had 50 ( very expensive) seeds and germination was so poor I only got 6 plants.

What I did see was amazing blooms and stem colour - with an enormous crowd of bees at every flower. This plant is amazing for pollinators. 🐝

BUT LOOK !!

Those 6 plants dropped hundreds of seeds ❤️

Babies! 🌸🌸🌸

Baby plants will be ready in January to plant straight into the ground - they prefer it cool!

Pinch and you will have multiple stems. Pick blooms all spring/early summer.

Scent is off the charts 🌸

In January I shall be holding a small ‘Plant & Seed Sale’ raising funds for the Nasio trust.org

Nourishing the Community, One Meal At A Time 🍲

The Porridge Kitchen Programme continues to make a real impact! This year, the Nasio Trust helped establish 36 kitchen gardens, empowering families to grow their own nutritious food.

Thank you to all supporters for your kindness and generosity so far! 🧡

tubers not potato tubers!

Planted from a tiny seed in the summer. I can’t believe these tubers - each tiny tuber will produce the exact parent plant. I’ve been collecting seeds too. Seeds produce a hybrid mix.

The garden still producing. 🌸❤️

Seeds and tubers will be offered for sale in January to raise funds for my charity trip to Kenya. .. more info to come 😇❤️

If you’ve followed my flower journey for a while, you’ll know that what I love most isn’t just the blooms… it’s the soil.

🌸The life in it.
🌸The way it responds when you nurture it.
🌸The magic that happens when you grow with nature instead of against it. 🌱

Over the last 2 years, I’ve poured myself into learning everything I can about regenerative farming; courses, workshops, hands-on practice, and honestly, hundreds of hours of podcasts.

What started as a love for growing flowers has grown into something much bigger:

🌱 a passion for helping soil heal, for working sustainably, and for teaching others how to grow food from the ground up.

And now, I’ve been given an opportunity I never imagined… 🌍💚

Next year ( March), I’ll be travelling to Kenya with The Nasio Trust, thenasiotrust.org a charity supporting some of the poorest communities in the region. Many families there live in mud huts, with little access to reliable food.

During my time there, I’ll be teaching regenerative growing skills, how to rebuild soil, how to grow nutrient-dense food, and how to create small, sustainable systems that support families long into the future.

It’s a chance to share everything I’ve learned on my own journey, and to help empower people with knowledge that can genuinely change lives.

To make this possible, I’m launching a fundraising campaign. 🥹

Every donation, even the smallest, will help provide the tools, materials and training needed to bring this work to the community.

If you’d like to support this project, you can find the link here : https://gofund.me/29d5cb54e

And even if you can’t donate, sharing this post means the world. 💛

Thank you for being part of my flower journey… and now, part of this new
chapter too.

Let’s grow hope together. 🌱✨

I am so grateful for these flowers. I have harvested them since May. They have performed superbly. I’m sure I could have harvested still !

While in your own garden you would probably not leave them to dry out and go brown - for me here at the flower farm, this allows me to collect their seed for next season.

The gift that keeps giving. 🌸🌸🌸
