🌹I would like to thank everyone for their warm words of comfort and support received in person, by message and in cards.
This is the photo that was on display in the church - it is the essence of Berni in every way and was taken on our first trip to Paris.

This is Tim, Berni’s husband, I have some terribly sad news for you.
The love of my life Berni passed away on Friday evening. I was with her, she passed in my arms as she always said she wanted to.
When we came to France I said that I would get us here, but that she had to make it work. The outpouring of love and support that her sons Gavin & Gareth and I have received over the weekend is testament to her success.
The funeral is on Friday 7th July at 9:30am French time (8:30am UK time) at the church in Brigueuil. This will be live streamed on Berni's Facebook profile page. Her cremation follows in Limoges at 12pm. We will then return to the Café de la Cité in Brigueuil to raise a glass to her life. All her friends are welcome to attend for all or part of this as you wish.
The dress code is bright summer clothes. Family flowers only please. If you wish, please make a donation to the charity we adopted Gilbert our rescue dog through, the Association En Route. Details of how to donate are on their website www.assoenroute.com

🐶 MEET GILBERT 🐶

If you’ve visited us before, you’ll know this little guy! If you’re yet to visit, please let us introduce you to your 4 legged host!

Gilbert is the little guy you’ll find wandering around the gardens, curling up at the end of your sunbed or sitting quietly at the side of the table waiting for someone to drop a bit of tasty lunch!

He LOVES attention the little flirt 😍
