✍🏻 Slow Down & Write met Lidewei Philips | auteur

Verhalen vertellen, pen en papier, goede boeken en de wilde tuin als schrijftafel. Een week me-time, voor woorden die al lang wachten om eruit te komen.

24 april – 1 mei

🌼 Les Herbes en Vacances met herboriste Martine Van Huffel

Planten en bloemen plukken, verven met de natuur, werken met essentiële oliën, zalfjes en balsems maken en koken met verse kruiden. De tuin wordt je apotheek én je keuken.

2 – 8 mei

🏺 Keramiek met Noortje

Een superleuke draaiweek voor alle niveaus. Je eigen ontwerpen, een scherpere techniek en als afsluiter een raku-stook. Gelach aan de draaischijf en rond de tafel gegarandeerd.

9 – 15 mei

🔥 Keramiek met Aster Caemaert Ceramics

Voor de iets meer ervaren pottenbakker: draaien, decoreren en stoken. Verfijn je draai- en decoratietechnieken en ontdek alternatieve stookmethodes.

4 – 10 juli

🤍 Porselein draaien met Sybille Segers

Een hele week met prachtig, breekbaar porselein. Trage handen, zachte klei, pure focus.

11 – 17 juli

🤲🏻 Handvormen met Katleen Zeelmaekers

Deze keer geen draaischijf. Gewoon kneden, knijpen en boetseren, met je handen en de zomerzon

Not quite summer. Not quite autumn. Our favourite in-between. 🍂

In Lot-et-Garonne, the quiet returns. You can feel it in the mornings, in the gravel under your feet, in a cup of coffee going cold in the hammock because you forgot it was there.

The terraces are still warm. Sit a while. There’s no rush.

October is the month we walk. Through the wild gardens, under old trees, along vines turning gold and deep red. Moss underfoot, light falling through the leaves. Almost all of it right here on the estate.

And then there’s the light. October gives us the most beautiful golden hour of the year: soft and warm just after sunrise, glowing again right before the sun goes down. The kind of light that makes you stop mid-step.

This shift from summer to autumn never ceases to amaze us. It’s a season of wonder. Of slowing down. Of so much gratitude.

A strip of light finding an old iron handrail. Moss learning the shape of stone, one soft green breath at a time. Linen curtains catching a breeze that has nowhere to be. A single fig, warm in an open palm.

This is what slowness looks like: not a grand view, but the quiet architecture of a moment. The texture under your fingertips. The shadow that moves across the wall while you’re not watching.
