The orchard is at peak-apple-ripeness right now. Work is starting to harvest our 500 trees, which will be turned into cider and calvados by a local artisan.

Don’t make the mistake of trying to eat some of these apples… tart is too subtle a description for these cider apples!

Ne faites pas l'erreur d'essayer de manger certaines de ces pommes... la tarte est une description trop subtile pour ces pommes à cidre !

Ready to welcome guests at Le Petit Manoir de Douairière!

Sunshine, the smell of freshly cut grass and a woodburning stove ready to be lit in the evening. Bliss.

Welcome to the Chateau du Mont, built in 1641, lovely interiors set amongst stunning gardens with a fountain, a large pool and adjoining pool house, surrounded by fields, orchards and woodland. The prefect location for gathering together friends and family from far flung places - as well as weddings and anniversary celebrations. The Chateau and Le Petit Manoir de Douairière (Dower House) are available to rent, together or separately, and can sleep up to a maximum of 28 people. We look forward to welcoming you!
