What a weekend! It's the first time Asya Moiseeva and I did two cities in three days: Stockholm and Vasteras in Sweden. I gave two lectures, Asya did her magic DJing at the Friday milonga Viktor in Stockholm, we taught two workshops in each city that were all completely packed and it's also the first time we danced two performances in two days. That gave us a taste of what it feels like to be touring artists.
The greatest thing about this weekend is the amount of love and appreciation we received from the organisers, the students and the dancers who came to watch our shows. From experience I know that Swedish tango dancers are rather calm, reserved and introverted but deeply warm people. So when they tell you they like something it's a huge compliment because it's the honest truth. We would like to thank both teams of organisers for making this weekend feel so warm and welcoming despite the intensity. Thank you Tango08, Aldo, Eva Lena, Lynn, Sigrid and all the people who made this possible. We felt like our dance and knowledge gave something meaningful to people and that's the best valuation you can have as artists and teachers. Tack!!
