I'm sat in a very hot room editing the photos from Saturday's wedding. The reception was in a marquee and we weren't supposed to be allowed in the house but a very nice lady took us in and I managed to take a few quick shots. I particularly like this one. Lovely wedding and lovely couple

I'm just sat editing Fiona & Joe's photos from their wedding at Nostell Priory on Saturday. I just love to see the smile on the bride's face as she walks down the aisle - or in this case the church path. Even the rain couldn't dampen her smile!

I'm just sat editing Sammi and Lee's photos from their wedding at Kings Croft on Saturday. It was a lovely day in-between dodging the odd shower or two. Such a photogenic couple!

The bride and groom at tomorrow's wedding have requested a sparkler photo so I've just been practicing on a photo from last year. It's incredible what you can do in Photoshop!

I've been so busy recently photographing and filming weddings that I've not really had anytime to post on here, but I promised Steph that I would put some photos on so here they are - really sorry for the delay Steph! Steph and Jonathan had their reception at the Crown Plaza in central Leeds, so after the church the families and wedding party all went down to Kirkstall Abbey for the main photos. While Steph and Jonathan were enjoying their wedding breakfast I had a good look around the surrounding area to the hotel and found some fairly funky Leeds architecture to use in some more photos. It's really good shooting at a venue that you've not been to before as it sometimes forces you to think outside the box!

I've taken plenty of photos of brides over the years and Alex has taken plenty of photos of horses with the equine photography side of his business, but a bride on a horse - especially one that can stand up on command - was something new for both of us. When Julia got married a couple of weeks ago she wanted her horse, Tank, to be a big part of her day, but I think with this photo he became the star of the day. I've never seen a wedding day photo quite like this one!

We got a cheap Ryanair flight to Bergerac in September and spent a week touring around. I've been lucky enough to have visited practically every country in Western Europe in my time, but I have to say that the Dordogne is one of the most picturesque areas that I have ever seen. The architecture is amazing, the countryside is lovely and the food is incredible. These are some of my favourite photos from the trip. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed being there!

Just finished editing Becky and Ric's video from the 315 at Lepton and this bit of dancing just appealed to me so I thought that it was worth sharing. This was one happy bride!

Just starting to edit the photos from Friday's wedding for Sarah and Simon at Wentbridge House. It was a great day but it was so, so hot. This time last year I was perfecting doing weddings in the rain. What a change this year!!
