2026 is a wonderfully busy year for me. I’m in full on writing mode, busy creating the wedding ceremony scripts for all the couples getting married this summer.

This morning, whilst responding to emails from the couples I’m working with this season, I received a rather lovely delivery to my inbox from with the announcement that I had won in two categories of their Global Wedding Awards:

I’m so passionate about creating a truly unique and personal ceremony for the couples I’m marrying, so to be acknowledged for my bespoke storytelling skills is truly delightful!

Awards and fanfares like this are so very gratifying…but what truly humbles me (and why I do my job) is when a mother, father, aunt, uncle or grandparent comes up to me after the ceremony with tears in their eyes and says ‘What a beautiful ceremony, your words were beautiful’. Which is always topped with the delight, hugs and smiles I experience with the newlyweds as they celebrate during cocktail hour!

“Saying I do on the French Riviera”

S&P chose the sublime Domaine de Canaille for their destination wedding in France. The most stunning luxury clifftop venue overlooking the harbour town of Cassis, with far reaching views of the Mediterranean Sea.

S&P’s intimate ceremony was full of joy and emotion. We celebrated the journey their love had been on to their wedding day and the wonderful future they have together as husband and wife.

Surrounded by their closest friends and family they declared their love for each other with the glistening sea as their perfect romantic backdrop. ❤️

As an Independent wedding celebrant I’m not constrained by set rules - which means your ceremony can include anything that feels right for you…truly reflecting your values, culture and story.

For M&M that meant honouring the Groom’s Jewish heritage by including Jewish wedding traditions throughout their ceremony.

Having travelled from the United States for their destination wedding in France, M&M’s ceremony was both deeply personal and culturally meaningful.

We held the ceremony in the central gardens of Chateau Gassies, just outside Bordeaux, under a traditional Chuppah beautifully decorated by As the sun shone down we were certainly grateful for the shade the canopy offered us!

Surrounded by their friends and family, M&M affirmed their contract of marriage with the exchange of vows and rings - and completed the sealing of their marriage with the Jewish tradition of the breaking of the glass.

C&J’s beautiful wedding at Chateau Destinee in the Dordogne.

It was a scorching 40 degree day, so everyone was grateful for the shade of the pergoda where we held their intimate ceremony witnessed by their closet friends and family.

A top class team of suppliers led by Sarah worked together to bring C&J’s dream wedding day to reality….and what a day it was! A day full of emotion, celebration, smiles and love.

Beautiful W&E chose Chateau Fengari just north of Bordeaux as the perfect venue for their wedding in France.

They chose to have their ceremony on the lawn with the Fengari’s classic Chateau facade as the perfect backdrop.

What a fun and emotional day it was for W&E, and all those present! Surrounded by their family and friends they declared their love and commitment to each other with the exchange of vows and rings. Their love story was celebrated, as was their significance of their marriage not only forming the union of two but creating a family unit of three with their daughter - the cutest ring bearer!

‘Authenticity’ was the word that resounded around P&E’s wedding at Chateau Gassies in Bordeaux.

As I got to discover their love story and learn more about P&E, it was clear that their relationship had developed by both being consistently present and authentic.

This is love.

I created a bespoke marriage ceremony for P&E tailored to suit their style, their love and their desire to celebrate the authenticity at the core of their partnership. In front of their closest friends and family, P&E declared their love for each other with the exchange of, very moving, vows and the exchange of rings.

There was no pretension, just pure authenticity. It was beautiful to be a part of.

‘Candidly caught announcing C&J out of the Chateau for their confetti corridor’

At the end of their ceremony, I announced C&J off as Mr & Mrs to walk back down the aisle, but they chose to have their confetti moment just after the ceremony, benefitting from the grandeur of Chateau Destinee’s facade as the perfect backdrop.

Their guests moved from the ceremony space and lined Chateau Destinee’s grand staircase. With handfuls of white petals they created a confetti corridor ready to shower their newlyweds. Photographer caught me at this moment building energy, excitement and encouraging joyful cheers as I announced the newlyweds out of the Chateau doors to celebrate with their guests.
