Slow does not mean idle. Not here.

It means the click of ice against glass while the sunset turns pink. It means salt on your skin from beach days, mixed with the sharp sweet cut of fresh peach and just-picked figs. It means a garden that hums with cicadas at dusk, fairy lights strung in olive branches, and the low murmur of guests who have nowhere else to be.
