Hello to you on this Magical Monday!

With Arthur and Dorothy on Half Term, we took a little road trip to beautiful Belgium, squeezing in two gorgeous cities AND a visit to Pairi Daiza the extraordinary 'Garden of the World'!

Think cobbled streets, wonderful architecture, waffles, chocolate, b**r and a little vintage shopping…Paradise!

With preparations for our annual Halloween party already in full swing, Pairi Daiza certainly got the children into the spooky spirit…as if they needed it! 🎃

The gardens had been transformed into a wonderfully spooky wonderland, bursting with pumpkins, autumn colours and enchanting decorations!

We've taken SO many photographs…here's Part One!

And now we're back at the Chateau, where HALLOWEEN MADNESS IS IN FULL SWING! 👻 Arthur and Dorothy are in their element, and the countdown to our annual party is well and truly on!

Belgium, you've been an absolute delight…now let the Halloween fun begin!

Sometimes the loveliest things begin in the most unexpected ways…

Whilst on the hunt for some new waterproof attire, Dick stumbled across an Australian family business called Jack Stillman, fell in love with their collection and treated himself to a poncho!

Who knew that one little purchase would lead to something so special?!

INTRODUCING… ESCAPE TO THE CHATEAU × JACK STILLMAN!

A collaboration born from a shared love of craftsmanship, attention to detail and beautiful things made to last…all inspired by three things we wished existed but could never quite find!

One year later… after countless conversations, multiple samples, lots of laughter and a photoshoot here at the Chateau, we are delighted to introduce you to our very own CHATEAU CAPE, CHATEAU APRON and CHATEAU WORK BELT!

Three wonderfully practical pieces, designed to be enjoyed in the moment, grow more beautiful with age and, hopefully, be handed down through generations.

The Chateau Cape - One size fits all, designed for everyone from teenagers upwards! Water-repellent waxed cotton, a removable hood and a gorgeous lining inspired by our Wallpaper Museum. For style and adventure, whatever the weather!

The Chateau Apron - A proper working apron for busy kitchens, barbecues, cocktails and entertaining, with generous pockets, lovely leather details and plenty of room for getting stuck in!

The Chateau Work Belt - For gardeners, makers and creative minds! Deep pockets for secateurs, scissors, brushes and all those little things that have a habit of disappearing just when you need them!

Hello to you on this Fabulous Friday!

It's the golden season at the Chateau…and we're loving every minute!

The leaves are turning…there's a chill in the air…and Arthur and Dorothy are back in their snuggly clothes. We've even put the heating on!

Today brings even more excitement as the children break up from school for the holidays! Two whole weeks of family time, autumn adventures and, of course, our annual Halloween party! 🎃👻.

The excitement is already building, with costumes to plan, decorations to make and plenty of spooky fun to be had!

Hello to you on this Sunny Saturday!

We have a Class President in the house! 🎉

Arthur was elected this week after his winning speech that promised to “carry you to the nurse’s office if you fall” and “teach you English”... a manifesto his classmates clearly believed he could deliver!

He chose his winning outfit carefully, and we were forbidden from making (and wearing!) election T-shirts or handing out Vote for Arthur lollipops…

Obviously not needed anyway!

Congratulations darling boy, we are very proud! ❤️

Hello to you on this Sunny Saturday!

We are LOVING this gorgeous late summer!

Last night we enjoyed some crabs out the front of the Chateau… 🦀

Arthur and Dorothy had clearly decided there was a dress code. We never got the memo, but we couldn’t stop smiling at Dorothy styling it out in her fabulous crab hat, while Arthur went for head-to-toe crustacean couture!

Because apparently, in our house, you can’t simply eat the crab…you have to BECOME the crab! 🤣
