Spring days aren’t far away

The last week we have had beautiful sunshine ☀️
Which got me thinking of the lilac wisteria
The glorious top terrace in March
Emma & her baby dogs 🐕 spending more time outside

Lately it has been pretty cold at night time and frosty in the mornings

But to know that in less than 60 days this place will be transformed and look absolutely magical 🧙‍♀️
Is giving us the biggest smile 😃

Birthday boy ❤️

Today was full on
This little monkey 🐒 didn’t stop 🤣
The excitement was real

Up 1st thing in the morning
Running around and hyped all day 🥳 😅

A usual Charles day 🥰😂
This video from 2,5 years ago but it is typically what Charles is like on a daily basis

Cheeky
Funny 😆 and so much energy 😆👌
But we wouldn’t have it any other day

Cutest pool boy

Over the last year we have had to do so much just us
But one thing we found out was how much Charles wanted to be helpful
from little bit of gardening to helping with his little sister Emma 💕

The 2 of them together make everything better ❤️

This last week he has been the best little helper and the pool now is all ready 🤩😘👌

Here is to wonderful kids that despite the set backs they see the positive side ❤️

Evening light
tonight ✨

This was at 8pm
Not much is going right and a lot of challenges ahead but we are lucky 🍀 and blessed with this amazing weather
Nearly the end of March and the grounds have already drastically changed
Tonight we count the blessings however small they may be

From the bright blue sky
The wisteria starting to bloom
To the leaves on the trees 🌲

Old postcards ♥️

Sometimes we imagine how the place would have looked back in the day ...
How life would have been a long time ago

We are lucky to have copies of these old 19th century black and white postcards

The 1st picture is the terrace view and from this angle it looks exactly like it does now obviously the wisteria is huge now 😍but the 2nd photo from a different angle show that there were gardens in the middle of the terrace and benches 😍 and a lady facing the other side possibly enjoying the sun ☀️

The woodland facing the chateau has changed a lot since but some things remain the same such as the majestic Cedar tree 🌲

Mother’s Day 💕

Happy special day which should be celebrated every day ❤️

Today is 🇬🇧 UK’s mother day and normally we would have spent the day with Edd’s mum & dad x
We would have had a glass of champagne 🥂 to say thank you as without Edd’s parents ( Barbara & Peter ) we wouldn’t be where we are x

Today we would have been sat on this terrace
( photos are from last year )

This adventure is because Edd’s mum feel in love ❤️ with the chateau ...
and she did everything possible so the chateau would be theirs
Even if it meant working non stop
Doing as much work as possible themselves

Today we celebrate the amazing mums
The ones that check on their little ones
The ones that work non stop to provide as life is not easy
The ones that have big or little ones
The ones that have furry or feathered ones

Today it’s about the mother figures ❤️
