It all came together in less than a month. Right in the middle of the Cannes Film Festival, one of the busiest times of the year for our teams, a client reached out to us to create a fully branded pop-up space during Cannes Lions.

We said yes✨

On D-Day, right in the heart of the Lions, our teams had exactly one hour to set everything up. One hour to transform the space, perfect every detail, and ensure our client would be proud of what we’d built. There was no room for improvisation. Every minute counted; every decision had to be the right one.

Our teams rose to the challenge, from the very first element installed to the final result, without ever compromising on quality.

The magic worked once again.

That’s what adaptability means at Magic Octopus: no matter the deadline, no matter the context, we always find a way to deliver a result that lives up to expectations.

During Cannes Lions, we love to create moments like this✨

At the heart of this week dedicated to creativity, for a brand participating in the Lions, we set up a aimple and friendly activation with a DJ, a great vibe and guests who were having a truly good time.

This kind of format creates exactly what we’re looking for : a sense of connection, spontaneity and memories that linger long after the day is over.

That very same evening, for the same client and at the same venue, we orchestrated a completely different experience : 300 guests, a totally different energy and a production that lived up to the event. The video is coming very soon, and it’s definitely worth checking out👀

That’s exactly what we love about this line of work during the Lions : being able to create intimate formats like this one, with the same attention to detail and high standards as a large-scale event.

The Monaco Grand Prix is a few days of excitement where every space becomes an opportunity to create a memorable experience🏁

For this occasion, our teams were delighted to put their expertise to work on a branding project planned down to the smallest detail, transforming a yacht into a true showcase for the brand.

From the design of the spaces to the highlighting of promotional materials and the attention paid to every finish… No detail was overlooked in creating a cohesive and impactful environment worthy of the event🏎️

With just a few days to go before Cannes Lions, the excitement is gradually building.

At Magic Octopus, this time of year is always special. It marks the start of intense weeks filled with creativity, coordination, and a lot of teamwork.

And while we are preparing a new edition alongside ADWEEK, it is impossible not to think back to the project imagined last year.

Inside the Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes, our teams designed and produced several spaces intended to foster connections and exchanges : a reception lounge, a main lobby, private meeting rooms and a terrace overlooking the Bay of Cannes and the Palais des Festivals

Flashback to a project completed during the 2025 Cannes Film Festival 🎬

At first glance, it was just an old commercial space in the heart of Cannes.
A few days later, the venue transported guests into the world of EXIT 8, the Japanese film screened at the Festival.

This is often where the strength of a successful set design lies : revealing a space’s potential and transforming it into an experience that aligns with the world we want to convey.

For this project, our teams designed and produced an immersive environment inspired by the film’s aesthetic, completely reimagining the spaces, decor, atmosphere and guest journey.
A project carried out on a particularly tight deadlines, where every detail mattered.

What stands out for us a year later ?
A venue’s ability to tell a story is often just as important as the event itself.
