One year ago, I stepped away from leading the Auction of Washington Wines after seven unforgettable years. This year, I'll be returning as a guest - and I couldn't be more excited.

The Winemaker Picnic remains one of my favorite Washington wine experiences. Imagine spending an afternoon with more than 100 winemakers, sampling incredible wines, enjoying exceptional culinary creations, connecting with fellow wine lovers, and bidding on rare wines in the live auction.

It's an experience that celebrates everything I love about Washington wine: the people, the stories, the generosity, and the community.

Most importantly, your participation supports three remarkable organizations doing important work:

🍷 WSU Viticulture & Enology
🍷 Vital Wines

If you've never attended, I highly encourage you to experience it for yourself. I'll be there on August 14 at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, and I hope to see many familiar faces.
