Every bespoke design starts with a story. When Holly & Townsend shared their vision, a few words kept coming back: draping, flowing fabrics, the ocean, and surfing 🌊.
They met while surfing when they were just 11 years old.
Years later, they chose to get married overlooking the Atlantic in Biarritz. That story became the starting point for the entire ceremony design.
Rather than recreating the classic fabric draping we’ve all seen before, I wanted to reinterpret it into something more contemporary and sculptural, while still feeling light, elegant and full of movement.
The custom-designed columns added height and texture, while the draped fabric echoed the movement of the waves. We extended this language through delicate tulle flowing from the ceremony chairs, creating a sense of continuity throughout the space 🤍.
Every design decision was made to reflect Holly & Townsend’s story in a subtle and timeless way. From designing the sculptural columns and selecting the fabrics, to working hand in hand with the florist to bring everything together, every detail was created exclusively for them.
