Last Saturday felt like a dream come true for us at Spinning Village. Heineken Wan Fire was never just about the music, it was about representation, legacy, and pride of place. And what better stage than Suva? The rain, true to our city’s spirit, was no obstacle. Instead, it became part of the WAN FIRE heartbeat reminding us that Suva celebrations are always bigger than the weather.

For so long, Melanesian music and voices have lived on the margins but on this stage, our languages, our stories, and our faces took the spotlight. The audience wasn’t just watching; they were seeing themselves reflected, celebrated, and uplifted.

Looking back, it's clear that Heineken Wan Fire wasn’t only a festival it was a statement. A statement that we, as Fijians, as Melanesians, and as proud Suva-ites, belong here, in all our power and beauty.

See you again in 2026.
