Think you know Fiji? Let’s put that to the test.

Welcome to *Qito Vaka Viti*, our interactive iPad team challenge where Fijian culture, language and rugby meet a bit of friendly competition.

You might be translating a Fijian word one minute, testing your rugby knowledge the next, then suddenly your whole team is attempting a challenge together to earn those extra points.

Teams work their way through a mix of questions, photo and video challenges, local knowledge and hands-on tasks, all while keeping an eye on the leaderboard.

You’ll learn a few things and very quickly discover who on your team actually knows their Fiji facts.

“I never take enough photos at these things.”

We’re putting an end to that.

At Tourism Fiji Industry Day, our Photo Booth became an excuse to grab your workmate, your industry friend, someone you’d just met five minutes ago and get in the photo.

And THAT was our favourite part.
Not the technology.
Not the backgrounds ... The people.

The laughing before the photo was even taken. The reactions when the results came through. Calling your mates over because they had to try this. Going back for another one because the first clearly wasn’t enough.

Those little moments are what turn a room full of people into an experience people actually share together.

And at the end of it?

You’ve got the photos to remember the people who made the day what it was.
More photos. More laughs. More reasons to come together.

Last month we launched Qito Vaka Viti, Fiji's first iPad-based game. It blends technology, competition and Fijian identity, giving participants a fun way to learn about Fiji's language and culture through rugby, one of our most-loved sports.

At Team Up Events Fiji, we believe in the communities hosting your business events should be genuine partners in the experience .. not just the backdrop to it.

That's why we started a training program for young Fijians building careers in tourism, hospitality, and events. We teach the practical skills, but just as importantly, we cover the cost of police clearances and help trainees set up their FNPF and TIN; the paperwork that's often the real barrier standing between someone and formal employment.

40+ young Fijians and counting have come through the program so far.

If you run an event with us, this isn't happening on the side, it's connected to your experience. The people delivering your service and hospitality are often the same people trained through this pipeline. It's real, structural CSR: not a one-off gesture, but an investment that compounds with every cohort.
