Meet Kaisa - a dancer and a photographer based in Helsinki.

Dancing has been an important part of her life since she was a child and her spark for photography started to grow when she bought her first camera at 16.
With a deep passion for both arts, she found that combining the two was a natural choice. Knowing how life-changing dance can be, she wanted to share its beauty through photography. Just as much as she loves expressing herself through movement and dance, capturing others as they move through the dance floor is equally thrilling for her!

Kaisa’s goal as a photographer is to catch the special moments, the smiles, the connections, and the joy that people share with each other on the dance floor.

Meet the Team: Vera (Teacher) - Bachata
Vera fell in love with salsa, Latin culture, and the Spanish language during her first trip to Cuba in the 1990s, and later completely lost her heart to bachata in the Dominican Republic in 2009.

She lived for several years in Las Terrenas, widely known as the dance capital of the Dominican Republic, where she worked as a professional dancer.

As a teacher, Vera’s greatest passion is bringing joy to people and creating a relaxed, authentic Caribbean atmosphere in her classes.

DJ Pies Locos/ Petri

With about 16 years of experience behind the decks, DJ Pies Locos is a trusted veteran of the Latin dance scene. Specializing in Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Konpa and Kizomba, he knows exactly how to keep the dancefloor moving. He performs and organizes events in Finland, and has played also abroad in for example in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. True to his name ("Crazy Feet"), DJ Pies Locos delivers the authentic rhythms and high energy that dedicated dancers demand.

Petri is also a seasoned dancer with nearly 20 years of experience in Latin dance. He fell in love with authentic Dominican bachata in 2008 and has since dedicated himself to dancing and studying the genre both in Finland and internationally. In his teaching, Petri emphasizes the cultural roots of bachata, musicality, and, above all, a relaxed and natural feel.
