Some sessions are simply meant to be heard.
Others take you somewhere.
Electro Noir Deluxe is the first chapter of a new series of DJ sessions, bringing together some of the most distinctive, dark and elegant sounds from the electronic underground.
Electro, EBM, Industrial, Futurepop, Synthpop and Dark Electro come together in a carefully selected journey through different moods, atmospheres and intensities.
From the darkness and introspection of Ruined Conflict, Covenant, VNV Nation and Mind.In.A.Box, through the raw power of Combichrist, Tactical Sekt, BAK XIII and Project Pitchfork, to unexpected and more melodic moments featuring Alphaville, Editors, Robyn and Massive Ego.
But Electro Noir Deluxe is not simply a collection of genres.
It's a journey.
A story built in real time, where every track has its place and every transition opens the door to the next chapter.
I've selected tracks and versions that I personally love — some well known, others much more hidden — looking for that balance between darkness, emotion, energy and electronic elegance that defines the way I understand music.
Turn on the machine.
Enter the Noir.
