Dennisse & Gian had a dream.
They had Barcelona in mind long before they had a date. Gaudí, la Sagrada Familia, that light that only exists here. When they found La Baronia, a place built by one of Gaudí's own collaborators, everything clicked.
Little they knew the worldwide politic situation will dramatically reshape their plans. Flights got cancelled. The guest list went from seventy to twenty-five. And honestly? I think that's where the magic started.
Wednesday was about arriving. La Baronia, an afternoon with no schedule, just people who had crossed the world to be there finally sitting together. That kind of energy you can't plan.
Thursday was the day. They said their vows in the crypt of the Sagrada Familia. I still think about that. The most iconic building in the city, and they got married in its most hidden corner. If you know Dennisse and Gian, it makes perfect sense.
For dinner, a restaurant by another Gaudí disciple. Modernisme in every detail you only catch if you're paying attention. Which they always do.
What started as a bigger vision became something I don't think they could have planned better. Twenty-five people who were really there. Two days that felt like theirs from start to finish.
Last minute flights. A wedding dress bought the day before. Plans rewritten more times than I can count. And still, they made it to Barcelona. They made it to each other.
If the world is making your plans harder right now, let this be a reminder. The day will happen. Maybe not how you imagined it. Probably better.
The team.
