One of the things we love most about what we do is the incredible people we get to meet along the way. We are truly fortunate to work with such kind, thoughtful, and generous clients.

Last night was a perfect example. Not only did we have the pleasure of creating a beautiful private dining experience, but our wonderful host surprised us with a custom souvenir menu to remember the evening by—a gesture that absolutely made our day. ❤️

The evening's four-course menu began with a selection of three handcrafted canapés for guests to enjoy on arrival, followed by a vibrant roast tomato and burrata starter bursting with fresh flavours.

For the main course, we served herb-crusted beef tenderloin accompanied by crispy rosemary potatoes and green bean almondine—a classic combination that was a real crowd-pleaser.

To finish, guests enjoyed a rich and velvety dark chocolate mousse, the perfect ending to a memorable evening shared with family and friends.

Moments like these remind us why we're so passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences. Thank you to our amazing clients for inviting us into your homes and celebrations—we never take that privilege for granted.

There’s nothing more rewarding than helping create unforgettable memories for our clients.

Recently, we had the pleasure of catering a very special birthday celebration at a beautiful private villa, where our client gathered with family and friends to mark the occasion in style. 🎉

The evening featured a bespoke multi-course dining experience, beginning with delicious starters, followed by a traditional paella course prepared fresh on-site. For the main course, guests enjoyed succulent Chicken Supreme served with a rich mushroom and Dijon mustard sauce, roasted potatoes, and locally sourced asparagus.

To finish, we presented a trio of classic Spanish desserts: creamy Basque Cheesecake, silky Crema Catalana, and indulgent Chocolate Tarta. And of course, no birthday celebration would be complete without a spectacular three-tier chocolate birthday cake! 🎂

Each course was thoughtfully paired with carefully selected wines, creating a truly memorable dining experience from start to finish.

A huge thank you to our wonderful client for her kind words and glowing 5-star review. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of such a special celebration.

If you're planning a birthday, family gathering, villa holiday, or special event on the Costa del Sol, we'd love to create a personalised dining experience for you.

We haven’t posted in a few days because we’ve been so busy with private clients and special events — and we’re incredibly grateful for it. ✨

One of the greatest privileges of being a private chef is getting to create special moments for wonderful people in beautiful places.

This past Monday´s dessert, served at a stunning vacation villa, was homemade pistachio baklava — perfectly crisp layers of pastry soaked in a fragrant orange-honey syrup, served warm with creamy vanilla ice cream. 🍯🍊🍨

There’s something so rewarding about ending an evening with a dessert made completely from scratch and seeing guests enjoy every bite. Grateful for lovely clients, unforgettable settings, and the chance to prepare and serve food that brings people together. 💛

Quiet Sunday afternoons before service call for something comforting, hearty, and made with a little extra love. 🍳✨

Today’s treat was a Hawaiian classic — Loco Moco. Originally created in Hawaii in the late 1940s, Loco Moco was designed as an affordable, filling meal for hungry local teenagers. What started as a simple plate of rice, hamburger patty, gravy, and egg quickly became one of Hawaii’s most beloved comfort foods — with endless variations enjoyed across the islands today. 🌺

Sometimes the best meals are the ones you make just for yourself before a busy week ahead. 🍽️

💡 Pro Tip for fellow food lovers and home cooks: Don’t throw away those mushroom stems! Save them to make a rich homemade mushroom broth or finely chop them into a savory mushroom paste known as duxelles — perfect for sauces, stuffing, or pasta.

A few weeks ago we posted about how quickly our little balcony garden had taken off… and somehow it’s grown even faster since then 🌱☀️

The Andalucía sunshine has been doing its thing, and the garden will soon be overflowing. We’re still harvesting way too much lettuce, and the peppers, cucumbers, and herbs have completely exploded over the last couple of weeks.

The next harvest is already on the horizon too — peas, potatoes, radishes, and tomatoes should all be ready very soon.

There’s something really satisfying about seeing just how productive a small space can become with the right climate, a bit of patience, and plenty of sun. It also keeps us connected to something we care deeply about: fresh, locally sourced, sustainably produced food 🌿

One of the things we’ve really been enjoying lately is creating private bespoke culinary tours of Málaga and other towns on the Costa del Sol for small groups looking to experience the city through its food, history, and hidden gems.

These aren’t typical tourist tours — they’re relaxed, personal experiences built around the flavours and culture that make Málaga special.

A few favourite stops often include:
🍷 Antigua Casa de Guardia — Málaga’s historic wine bar full of character and local tradition
🦐 Mercado Central de Atarazanas — incredible local produce, seafood, tapas, and the real heartbeat of the city
✨ Walks through the old town with stops for wine, tapas, and local favourites

Tours can be tailored completely depending on interests — traditional tapas, wine-focused experiences, market visits, hidden local spots, or even hands-on cooking experiences.

Perfect for:
👫 Couples
👨‍👩‍👧 Visiting friends & family
🍷 Food lovers
🎉 Small private groups

One of the great things about living in southern Spain is the incredible variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables—and right now, asparagus is at its absolute best (March through June 🌱).

Here in Andalusia, wild asparagus—espárrago triguero—is more than just a seasonal ingredient; it’s a deeply rooted cultural tradition, closely tied to foraged “country cooking” (cocina de campo). It’s something locals have been gathering and cooking with for generations, and you can really taste that heritage in every bite.

I picked up a beautiful 1 kg bunch of wild asparagus at my local Sunday market for just €2, and on my day off yesterday, turned it into a silky homemade cream of asparagus soup.

Pro chef tip: if you’ve got a multifunction pressure cooker, you can have this ready in under 30 minutes from start to finish—perfect for an easy but elegant meal.

Even better, it’s a light, healthy dinner that costs next to nothing per serving. I used homemade vegetable stock made from kitchen scraps and transformed some stale bread into crispy herbed garlic croutons. As I like to say, zero waste, maximum flavor.

Simple ingredients, traditional inspiration, and a little chef know-how… sometimes that’s all you need. 🍲✨

🌿 Got fresh herbs on the verge of going limp? Don’t toss them—transform them into something incredible: compound butter.

💡 We had some cilantro left over from catering a birthday party and preparing tapas at Billie's Piano Bar and Speakeasy this week, so made the same type of compound butter that a high-end steakhouse charges 4€ a plate for.

✨ Here’s how to do it at home:

Finely chop your herbs (parsley, basil, coriander, thyme—anything goes)
Mix into softened butter
Season to taste—dd a pinch of salt, a squeeze of lemon, or even a little garlic
Roll into a log using parchment paper and chill (or freeze)

Three minutes of work will extend the life of your herbs for weeks (or months!) It also instantly elevates dishes for little to no money—just slice and melt over steak, fish, veggies, or fresh bread

Zero waste, maximum flavor

Just sharing a bit of what we’ve been working on recently on the hospitality side.

Alongside private chef work, we’ve been helping restaurants and cafés with menu development and kitchen efficiency — whether that’s refreshing an existing menu or making day-to-day service run more smoothly.

This can include:

👨‍🍳 Developing new dishes or updating current menus
📋 Streamlining menus to improve flow and consistency
⏱️ Improving kitchen workflow and prep systems
💡 Reducing waste and simplifying service without losing quality

Often it’s not about doing more — it’s about doing things smarter and more efficiently, which makes a big difference during busy service.

If you run a venue (or know someone who does) and are looking to refresh your menu or tighten up operations, feel free to message us — happy to have a chat and see where we can help,

Three weeks. That’s all it’s taken for this little balcony garden to absolutely explode 🌱☀️

Thanks to the warm, temperate climate and that glorious Andalucía sunshine, everything has taken off faster than we ever expected. What started as a few hopeful seedlings is now becoming a full-on mini jungle.

We’re already harvesting more lettuce than we can comfortably keep up with (not a bad problem to have!), and the next wave is right around the corner. Tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, bok choy, peas, potatoes… it’s all coming in fast.

It’s also a nice reminder that we really do practice what we preach—championing locally sourced, sustainably produced food doesn’t get much more local than this.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching it grow day by day—and even better, eating it. Fresh, homegrown, and right outside the door.
