This Weeks Tip from the Planner- The Speeches 🎤💕

Wedding speeches are a beautiful part of the day, filled with love, laughter and a few (hopefully not too embarrassing!) stories. But keeping them short and engaging is key! Here are my golden rules, aim for 3-5 minutes max per person.

◽️Be Prepared- winging it rarely works, a little planning goes a long way.
◽️Keep it light - A mix of sentiment and humor is perfect.
◽️Avoid inside jokes- you want all guests to enjoy it, not just a few
◽️End on a high- A heartfelt toast is always a winner!!

A great speech should make guests smile, maybe shed a happy tear and most importantly leave them excited and ready to party 🥂🕺💃.

💍Tip from the Planner- Bride’s Essentials for your Destination Wedding 👰‍♀️ 💒

Here are some essentials items every bride should think of for her wedding day.

▫️Personal Touches: bring something sentimental to make the day even more meaningful like a special gift from your partner, or an item from a family member that’s got a special place in your heart.

◽️Beauty Items: don’t forget the waterproof mascara, and your go to make up items for those touch ups during your special day.

◽️Emergency Kit: As a planner I’ll always have the safety pins, hairpins, plasters and mini sewing kits in my bag but it’s good to think of these things for a quick fix on the day.
