WEDDING PLANNER VS COORDINATOR 🤍
Let me try summarise this as simply as possible...
I offer both of these services, but they differ in many ways!
🤍 Planner - Involved from initial concept conversations, before venue/date/any suppliers are yet secured
📋 Coordinator - Comes in, in the final stages of planning or even only on the day of, to pull together/ execute what has been planned by the couple directly
🤍 Planner - Is there to lean on for all supplier recommendations and reputable network sharing, comparing proposals and giving general, educated and experienced advice
📋 Coordinator - Will finalise details in the lead up and coordinate those on site on the day, but no influence on who is booked
🤍 Planner - Manages the budget for the entire celebrations, offering cost effective ways to reduce or be sustainable with costs
📋 Coordinator - May assist with collating final payments or managing on the day exchanges, but has little to do with the money side of things
🤍 Planner - Influences and assists with full design concept/ vision board, sourcing relevant suppliers, tieing in all elements so the final design works collectively
📋 Coordinator - May be responsible for adding some finishing touches and styling, if required on the day
🤍 Planner - Will be on hand to discuss all (you better believe ALL) things wedding, for the full duration of the wedding journey, often 2 years+
📋 Coordinator - Available for select duties from earliest 2 months out from your wedding
Ultimately, a planner becomes a Coordinator on the day (it may be a team of people alongside the planner)...but both work VERY hard to fulfill their duties, depending on the extent of input you need from someone, to make your celebrations so perfectly yours! 🤍
