Velvet Circus was founded by Danielle Hodgson-Lindley With 7 years’ experience as head of styling for Ibiza Wedding, one of Ibiza’s top wedding planners, Velvet Circus was born in 2012. With a passion for design and styling, my vision is to bring a unique and different style to the island. From an early age I have been creating, and many hours have been spent rummaging round vintage markets, second-hand shops and piles of silk and lace. I see inspiration everywhere - food, clothes, the island environment – there are no boundaries or limits! Over the years I have collected and sourced many beautiful, vintage and modern pieces and up-cycled wherever possible, to bring an element of enchantment to any event. For this pre-wedding dinner, Luxury event stylists in Ibiza and Formentera and BANDARRÁ Floral Workshop brought the warmth, marigold garlands draped over the bar from The Bar Ibiza , citrus scattered across the table, a centrepiece built from ranunculus, calla lilies, and hydrangea in every tone between gold and rust.

To make this table come to life Velvet Circus handled styling, creative direction, and hire - the deep reds, the candlelight, the long table set to catch the last of the daylight.

La Grande Bouffe was already working wonders in the kitchen, plating canapés and preparing the main course, with the kind of precision that looks effortless once it’s on the table.

The Bar Ibiza had welcome drinks and cocktails ready as the first guest even arrived, set up to keep the drinks flowing through out the whole night.

Jordan Grant surprised her partner Joe with a very special 30th birthday dinner beneath the Ibizan olive trees.

Amber ikat print, bamboo and rattan set the tone, while the olive grove behind was washed in deep reds and golden light, creating the most incredible backdrop as the sun went down.

Go Flower Studio brought an unexpected edge to the florals with burnt-orange celosia and anthurium - sculptural, textural and deliberately far from the traditional “birthday” arrangement.

Every detail on the table, from the glassware and place settings to the layers of amber and green, was selected from the Velvet Circus hire collection, bringing the whole palette together beautifully.

When Annie’s Ibiza throws a summer party, the setting has to hold its own against the iconic Annie’s Ibiza dresses. So used our hire items to turn the beach into a proper lounge, rust-toned pouffes, layered rattan textures, velvet cushions in burnt orange, all grounded on woven carpets right at the water’s edge.

This structured wedding arch created the perfect frame.

Suspended over the water, dressed floor to ceiling in white roses that cascaded down into the reflection below, this arch anchored a four-day celebration on the island, later featured in Town & Country as one of the season’s standout Ibiza weddings.
