Where flowers meet the future of the industry.

Last week, part of the CUTT/events team attended Viridalia 2026 — held on June 4-5 at the Mercat de la Flor in Vilassar de Mar, and organised by the Associació de Viveristes de Barcelona.

Viridalia is a unique event in the green sector: part trade fair, where each member of the association showcases their products in beautifully curated stands, and part conference programme, with talks on the trends and challenges shaping the future of the industry.

What struck us most was the combination of product, people, and purpose. Mediterranean gardens designed on the spot, hydrangeas in every colour imaginable, bougainvilleas in full bloom — and alongside all of that, real conversations about sustainability, innovation, and where the sector is heading.

As event professionals, being here is more than attendance — it's learning how different industries bring their communities together. The format, the attention to detail, the way each exhibitor told their own story through their stand — there's a lot that the MICE world can take from events like Viridalia.

Thank you to Bego, Cris and Georgina for representing the team on the ground and making it all run smoothly.

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting Club Med Magna in Marbella for a fam trip — and I left completely inspired by what this destination can offer for corporate events and incentive travel.
