🇬🇧 Brasilio de Oliveira, one of the most important figures in Ibiza's clubbing scene, died on Wednesday 16 December 2020 in São Paulo, Brazil.

Brasilio was the owner of the well-known bar Coco Loco at the Port of Ibiza, which years later would have its own mini residence, giving its name to one of the rooms in the KU discotheque (now Privilege).

A pioneer, he directed the KU programme in its golden age, organising colourful and cheerful parties inspired by Brazilian carnivals.

Later, Brasilio would create the mythical La Troya party, a true landmark of Ibiza's nights. It was originally called La Vaca Asesina and was held at KU. It also started out as a party aimed at a mainly gay audience, but soon became one of Ibiza's biggest hits, open to an audience of all sexual orientations. The party went through the Amnesia and Space clubs and, in recent years, was at the Heart Ibiza club.

🇪🇸 Brasilio de Oliveira, una de las figuras más importantes del clubbing de Ibiza, ha fallecido el miércoles 16 de diciembre de 2020 en São Paulo (Brasil).

Brasilio fue propietario del conocidísimo bar Coco Loco del Puerto de Ibiza, que años más tarde tendría su propia mini residencia, dando nombre a una de las salas de la discoteca KU (actual Privilege).

Todo un pionero, dirigió la programación de KU en su época dorada, organizando coloridas y alegres fiestas inspiradas en los carnavales brasileños.

Más tarde, Brasilio crearía la mítica fiesta La Troya, un verdadero hito de las noches de Ibiza. En sus orígenes se llamó La Vaca Asesina y se celebraba en KU. Además, comenzó como una fiesta orientada a un público mayoritariamente gay, pero que pronto se convirtió en uno de los grandes éxitos de Ibiza, abierta a un público de todas las orientaciones sexuales. La fiesta pasó por las discotecas Amnesia, Space y, en los últimos años, estuvo en el club de Heart Ibiza.
