It's been a year since we played before THE BLAZE in Málaga, and we're excited to announce that our next concert is just around the corner.

On August 21st we will perform at the Botanical Gardens of Gibraltar, a very special venue for us.

Joined by Biolumen, this will be a intimate event at a unique location and we can't wait to share it with you.

Now - we have to talk about Applied Magic.

Starting the label was one of those happy accidents.

In the beginnings of Covid I uploaded my track "Ode To An Empty Dancefloor" to Bandcamp as a free download. Many people wanted to stream it so I talked to Muting The Noise to figure something out. Now I suddenly had a label!

At first, I wanted to use it mainly as a platform to release my own music, but I was sent so many great demos that I just couldn't keep them all for myself. And since I love art and design I also decided that each release should be designed by a different visual artist.

I'm super proud of every record we did and it helped kick-start the careers of some of my favorite artists - but I didn't really put out a lot of my own music. And to be honest it turned out to be so much work that I just couldn't keep up anymore, and I felt the energy I put in and what I got out of it was not properly balanced.

So I decided to stop for a while and reconsider my options. And now I'm coming back, but with a slightly different concept...simpler artworks, single tracks, faster pace. Still Applied Magic.

I will also focus more on my own music again, but I'm always happy for new demos and unreleased music. I try to listen to everything!

My first Max For Live devices are out now!

I'm nervous, excited, proud...all the things. I just hope this works, I've spent months working on them, had some fun times and some frustrating times, spent hours patching and bugfixing and I just hope it was all worth it. 🙏🏻

It's three Max For Live devices:

Magichord helps you create chords at the click of a button, simple as that.

Pendel is a 16 voice phase shifting arpeggiator. That's a mouthful but trust me it makes sense.

Octaver is FREE! It simply adds octaves to your midi note input. Very usefull.

I made a ton of music with these devices myself already, but can't wait to hear what other people will do with it.

There's also a longer explanation video up on my YouTube which was actually really fun to do...you might see me there more often now! Anyway, enjoy. I'm finally gonna make some music now. Much love! 💗
