JJ Spain DMC participó en la XXVI Convención Anual y Asamblea General de Spain DMCs, celebrada en Santander del 13 al 15 de marzo.

Estamos profundamente agradecidos a Santander por su excelente acogida en su tierra a una cita tan importante para nuestra industria.

Tres días de encuentro en los que, además de una excelente organización, se ha reforzado algo clave para nuestro sector: la necesidad de avanzar desde la unidad. En un entorno cada vez más exigente y cambiante, es fundamental que los DMCs mostremos solidez como colectivo, reforcemos nuestra posición dentro de la industria y sepamos responder con firmeza a los desafíos que plantea el futuro.

La evolución del sector MICE, la creciente competitividad y las nuevas dinámicas del mercado nos obligan a ir más allá de la operativa tradicional. Es momento de consolidar nuestro papel estratégico, trabajar de forma coordinada y seguir aportando valor real a destinos y clientes.

Durante la convención también se abordaron cuestiones clave como el impacto de la inteligencia artificial, una realidad que abre nuevas oportunidades y que refuerza la importancia de seguir innovando y adaptándonos a un entorno en constante transformación para seguir siendo líderes a nivel internacional.

Our colleague Rocio Marmolejo had the pleasure of attending the MICE&FORUM held at the beautiful Finca Afoliz, a venue that holds a Michelin Green Star for its commitment to sustainability.

The event took place on the 5th and 6th of June, and was a fantastic opportunity to interact with people passionate about sustainable practices in the MICE industry.

Last week, our colleague Rocío Marmolejo had the privilege of attending the Presentation of the Market Study organised by Evento Plus, a key meeting for professionals in our sector.

The day was not only enriching for the quality of the information presented, but also for the opportunity to share experiences and perspectives with other colleagues in the sector and experts. The trends on the horizon for the future of events are very exciting and promise innovations and strategies that will revolutionise our industry.

We also discussed the challenges we face as an industry where everything is moving at a frenetic pace and the need to nurture talent.
