To all our future brides and grooms, we've found a little gem we'd love to share with you!
We've just been to visit Cortijo Juan Salvador , tucked away in the mountains of Málaga, and we came home really excited about the possibilities for small weddings here!
We had such a lovely welcome from Jeroen and Sandra, who showed us around their gorgeous property. We spent some time chatting about weddings and what could be done there, and honestly, we could see the potential straight away!
The views are absolutely stunning, the grounds are beautiful, the houses are full of character, and it's all so peaceful and private. Right in the middle of the countryside, with no neighbours around. Just mountains, nature and beautiful surroundings.
We think this could be a fantastic place for smaller, more personal weddings of up to around 50 guests.
The cortijo itself can sleep up to 20 people, and there are also a few lovely, friendly Airbnbs just a 10-minute drive away where the rest of your guests could stay.
What we particularly love is the idea of making a little holiday out of your wedding. Stay for two or three nights, have your family and closest friends around, enjoy the pool, good food, a few drinks and just spend some lovely time together.
And here's another nice surprise… the price!
It's approximately €1,100 per night for accommodation for up to 20 people, plus around €500 to have your wedding celebration there. Of course, catering and all the other wedding extras would be separate.
There's no minimum number of guests either, so it could work just as well for a very small wedding.
We see so many wedding venues, but this one really caught our attention. It's relaxed, has so much character and, most importantly, Jeroen and Sandra are genuinely lovely people.
We can already see some wonderful weddings happening here, and we'd love to be part of them!
