The Part Time Killer project is all about conflicting emotions, an inevitable oscillation between the desired self and the shadow within. Therefore, he utilizes vocals and futuristic sound design to create a cyberpunk-ish cinematic vibe that gets printed on fast techno grooves. PTK’s tracks are either nightmarishly dark or touchingly beautiful, thus manifesting his artistic split personality.

While the project emerged in late 2021, PTK has been a part of “Selected” ever since, which acts as a label and an international techno event series. For Selected, he has been DJ-ing as “Vermeer” (PTK and Jonas Ju) for years. He also participates in the management and works as one of the mastering engineers for Selected.

Free from thought, almost instinctively, her sets are a call to surrender to the moment and experience all these raw emotions in its purest form.

At the heart of her sets lies the belief that we all share a common origin — beyond nationality, culture, gender or sexuality. Music is the universal bond that unites us, and this is the essence ÜBERKIKZ aims to express through her art: the power of rhytms to bring us together as a community and remind us of the unity of all humanity.

DISCOVER CRIME | 04 JAN RAZZMATAZZ

will be joining us for the first time at Room 1 on January 4.

CRIME, based in Barcelona, started up his musical career in 2008 by mixing on vinyl and producing his own music.

Getting to know the Korg ESX-1 sampler led him to delve into electronic music production. In 2011, he released his first track, the first of many that have been shaping his own style, particularly distinguished by its hard-hitting kicks, or also known as knives in your ears.

His entire career has been influenced by many music styles such as Frenchcore or Schranz, especially in the beginning. However, he is currently into Hardcore or Hardbass, among others. These overall genres have been inspiring him to further refine the powerful and characteristic sound of his productions.

As a DJ, CRIME has toured clubs around Italy, France and different Spanish cities, such as Tramunfest, Duro Festival, The End of the World, Input, Millenium...
